Nigerians spend more on recharge cards than food, we spend N267.8 billion on recharge cards. (Some say N447.8bn)

If they tax / increase your 1,000 recharge by 10% to 1,100 and do similarly to other recharges, they will make 26.7 billion every month from your pocket.

Even if 1,000 is increased to 1,050, they will still make 13 billion.

Now remember your 200,000 brothers/sisters they employed and promised 30k? Their salaries in a month is just 6 billion.

Remove 6b from 26.7b and you still have 20 billion naira left

Why is it the December that the 200k people will earn their salaries that we suddenly get hit with a data hike?
