If God cannot do it, let the church tell them how to do it. At this rate, Christ Embassy may build a tube in lagos. |

Those of us who require private landing strips for our Gulfstream 4 luxury jet aircraft are still patiently awaiting the Good Lord to inspire Pastor Eunuch further, so that he will embark on those vital construction projects as well, before too long. |

@Poster Please correct your misleading title. 'Feeder roads' are not 'Express Roads'! |

They are express roads in Nigeria. |

Aloy~Emeka: True that, but Pastor Eunuch never built one and never will, that greedy phuck. |

How can someone in his or her right senses say feeder roads are express roads in Nigeria? A psychiatirst may be needed ASAP. |

Jakumo: wow, ,,,,,,,,,,some animosity on display here! You got any personal experience with the 'revered' Pastor? |
Re: Adeboye And RCCG Constructs Feeder Roads In Lagos And Ogun State by Jakumo(m): 9:29am On Nov 09, 2009 |
Horrendous 24-hour duration traffic gridlocks created by Pastor Eunuch's followers have cost numerous lives on the Lagos Expressway, so it is a good thing that the high-flying fleecer of the flock has FINALLY decided to address that abuse of a public highway, after a quarter century of contentedly creating vehicular mayhem twice a month. So yeah, it would be a VERY personal ordeal indeed, for anyone who knows what it is like to be trapped in their car for a whole phucking day and night, at the mercy of armed robbers, just because some shyster pastor thinks he owns a federal highway such that he can shut it down at will. |

Seeing as the coffers of the church is on a steep rise coupled with the magnitude of obstruction they cause when they hold their summit/conference/seminar it is only right for them to construct roads to alleviate the lives of people who ply the roads |

Jakumo i see your point, but you must understand that the leadership problem here you are trying to portray is a function of a mass illiterate followership. I however do not think your quite unusual and rather strong words are appropriate. Of course who am i to tell you what is?, lol. And just so there are no second guesses, i am not a member of his church |

Well self-help projects seem to be the trend in Nigeria development system. Though Pastor Adeboye should have worked on that road a long time ago cos it leads right to his church and it'll ease traffic for his parishioners. I guess he got tired of waiting for the Federal Government! |

Just like rappers, naija pastors also buy and do bling bling when they have too money to spare. |

it is a good step in the right direction, i have long foreseen a time in dis country where the church will lead the way for development in our polity. but in as much as i dont subscribe to the way the church's wateva meetings cause chaos on the federal high way, it is rather defacing to hear you jakumo talk of the pastor like that(i aint an RCCG member) but of all the people to talk about anyow(not a man of GOD).Please refrain(for your own good), speak no evil of GOd's anointed brah a step in the right direction(though its over due-but like they say, no time like the present) |

Religion seems to be the only escape route for the larger population from the hardship and societal malaise affectin the country. This has elevated the bishops, pastors, imams, and any other supertitle they wish to be known by, to a godlike status where it becomes socially unacceptable to redress their errs and false steps. This syndrome is typified by a recent comment on this thread. |

Am a reader of nairaland and really appreciate all the posts made so far, but i feel most of those making comments on this forum just do it without thinking, they just bounce on thier keyboard and start arguing and making comments out of context. Please i want to use this medium to encourage reasonable people not to allow them take over this forum so that we can all continue to learn and be informed thru this forum |

Finally, the General Overseer of shady business deals and spiritual father of our corrupt politicians has looked down with favour upon the hapless citizens. Who does Eunuch think he is deceiving.? He wants to build new feeder roads for his ever expanding customer base. How is that our business?. I just pity his hypnotised customers who see religion as the only hope instead of looking for practically solutions to life regular challenges. Please let no NLander tell me about not touching God's anointed o. For Adeboye is not one of God's anointed and I can touch him. |

It's only good for some commentators on this blog to always put on their reasoning cap before pouncing on their keyboards to expose their shallow thoughts on issues. What the man of God has done is simply a slight on the government, whose responsibility it is to provide such infrastructural facility. Such camp ground does not only exist in Nigeria but all over the world yet these people/ministries (e.g Billy Graham, Kenneth Hagin both late now) never for once provide this type of infrastructural facilities most especially road, water, security simply because their governments are alive to their responsibilities e.t.c That a mission is now deeming it fit to construct feeder roads to ease traffic problem after a long fruitless wait on government should be applauded or at least be left alone, if you can't encourage them don't discourage them. But it seems some people can not do without typing jargon just for typing sake. What do they stand to gain from all these? Except the exposure of their lack of sound knowledge. |

The speed at which jakumo and others jump at adeboye's issues on nairaland makes me wonder if it is just out of reason or is it personal. You can cricticize the man without insulting him. If not for anything, do it because he is someone's father and husband. |

ABSOLUTE HUMILITY Memorise: "Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud" (Prov 16:19) Read: Philippians 2:5-8 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. One day, Jesus got to River Jordan and saw a queue of people who were waiting to be baptized. Those on the queue comprised all classes of sinners - tax collectors, armed robbers, liars, etc. They thought that if they could enter that river and come out, their sins would become history. Jesus came and joined the queue even though He was pure, holy and absolutely clean. But when John the Baptist saw Him, he told Him that baptism is for those who want to be saved and not for the Saviour. He added that if there was anybody who should be baptized, it was he, John. But Jesus insisted on being baptized by John (Matt 3:13-17). There are certain conditions you must meet for you to experience open Heavens. You must have absolute humility. Jesus exhibited this at River Jordan. If your humility is not absolute, you may become a victim of the saying, 'Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely'. It is quite unfortunate that several ministers of God who received a trickle of God's graces to heal headaches, have now become bishops and archbishops. If you are a beneficiary of God's graces and you are not absolutely humble, you may end up a victim in the hands of Satan. Some years ago, one brother named Sam was a beneficiary of God's graces. On one occasion, he went to preach in a Teacher Training College. He was uneducated and could not speak English Language. So he planned to invite someone to interpret his message into English. But immediately he was called to the pulpit, he began to speak Queen's English for the next 45 minutes, even without understanding what he was saying. It was when he saw people coming to answer the altar call that he understood what was happening. He was so endued that he could describe with precision how someone is suffering from stomach ache. He could see babies in the womb of their mothers. But along the line, pride got a grip of him. When told to attend Bible study, he would ask: "Who is going to teach? How many dead people has he raised?" Unfortunately, he ended up in a mental asylum. Are you allowing your little success to get into your head? Are you feeling too big to submit to God's servants and His Word because you think you have arrived? Watch it! Pride can strip you of every good thing you have got and prevent you from open Heavens. Any divine vessel who does not wear the garment of humility cannot go far with God. |
