Almost everywhere, the local APC are fighting each other.

- ElRufai vs Shehu Sanni - Kaduna
- El Rufai vs Atiku - National
- Gunduje vs Kwakwanso - Kano
- Okorocha vs Osita Okechukwu - SE Regional.
- Buhari vs Sanusi - National
- Buhari / Garba Shehu/The Cabal vs Buba Galadima, former CPC National Secretary and APC, BOT

Even Emir Sanusi has become an opposition to Buhari in many levels. Who knows whether he is fighting for his benefactor (Kwakwanso) who makes sure that he is installed the emir against other candidates.
Sanusi latest comment that CBN is illegally funding Buhari's government is damning and the NASS can easily seize on this to impeach Buhari.
Buhari is not a good politician by encouraging all this rancour and division within a party that just came into power last year.

Kwankwaso, Saraki and Sanusi are plotting Bubu's fall and novice are shouting Tinubu.
Buhari enemies are within his Northern Caliphate.
If for anything, Tinubu is only helping Buhari to retain power, just like he helped him to become the President.
Oyegun is clueless and has become a tool in the hands of Buhari's enemy

Tinubu!

APC troubles started the day Buhari decided not to commit to deciding who would emerge as the leaders in the Senate and HOR.

While 50 APC Senators were waiting to see a president who was sleeping at the appointed time, Saraki with about 8 APC Senators and PDP senators conspired to deny his own fellow party Senators the privileged to cast their very 1st votes as elected representatives of their constituencies. Keeping in mind that the same APC had already held a party caucus mock election where Saraki had already lost to Ahmed Lawan.

Tinubu had already compromised on his preferred candidates of Sen George Akume and Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, who were the opposition APC leaders in the previous dispensation, and by right should have been elevated to the top position in the different chambers of the National Assembly - being the party with majority. Tinubu directed Akume to team up as deputy to Lawan, in deference to what was assumed the presidency preference for Ahmed Lawan.

Till today, the sleeping Buhari has refused to wake up to his responsibilities as the party leader, and no disciplinary action has been taken against Saraki and his supporting APC senators.

Oyegun as party chairman has also remained so useless and not commanding any iota of respect or authority from the rank and file of APC elected officials.

Next is the Kogi debacle that arose after Audu's death. Yahaya Bello was widely known to have been a supporter of Idris Wada of PDP, after Bello lost the APC ticket to Audu. Both Audu and Idris are Igala from the same senatorial zone, but a very popular Yahaya Bello ensured that even his own polling unit in the Ebira senatorial zone was won by Idris Wada of PDP. It is significant to note that as the 2nd runner up to Audu in the APC primaries, Yahaya Bello never attended any of the campaign rallies of candidate Abubakar Audu and running mate James Faleke, not even the ones held in his Ebira senatorial zone.

So after APC had won the election inconclusively, and had lost in Yahaya Bello's polling unit to PDP, the same anti-party Yahaya Bello was called upon to carry the party's banner in the contest over a mere 13,000 leftover votes upon Audu's demise, in preference over a running mate Jame Faleke who won his polling unit and senatorial zone for the party, and who actually campaigned for the success of the party.
Still Buhari was sleeping, and Oyegun remained useless. Anti-party activities was rewarded with an already won governorship.

Now, Ondo state primaries. Tinubu had his interest as other players had theirs too. Tinubu decides he will not support the same Akeredolu he brought to political limelight 4years earlier. Rotimi Akerodolu, SAN, was previously NBA national president, but without any political worth until Tinubu put his midas touch on him. Tinubu decides again to support another politically unknown person called Segun Abraham, Akeredolu and his team cried foul over Tinubu's support for another candidate, forgetting he was supported over others 4years ago.

What was expected was a fair primary where Tinubu's candidate would slug it out with other political interests candidates. Tinubu's candidate lost to Akeredolu and as 2nd runner up had conceded and congratulated Akeredolu, but withdrew his concession when facts emerged from the Boroffice and Oke camps that the Akeredolu camp had tampered with the delegates composition for the conducted primaries.

The party organ to review such complaints had found the accusations to be true and recommended a new primary election, useless Oyegun finally became useful in the truncation of party internal democracy, and rather ratified the fraudulent primary and confirmed Akeredolu an SAN and former NBA National President, as the winner in a fraud.

Tinubu withdrew his support and resources, and had his own candidate Abraham accept his fate in a jaundiced democratic party. Oke went on to decamp to AD to contest. President Buhari as party leader continued to sleep.

Luckily, the PDP regime of Mimiko was so terrible that even votes lost to Oke of AD, did not prevent APC from wining a PDP whose campaign promise was to finally pay the workers salary that they owed.
Tinubu immediately congratulated the winner he brought to political limelight, the party he helped form, the useless party chairman he brought into office, and the sleeping president he helped assume office. Tinubu craftily addressed president Buhari as the leader of the party. This was a deliberate admonition to the president to stop sleeping and take control of the party and stop being a spectator as APC falls apart under the leadership of a weak and useless party chairman who has refused to enforce party discipline, conduct the party convention for election into party leadership positions, and maintain the democratic ideals of the party.

He fought against imposition by accepting a primary fraught with fake delegates, an accusation confirmed by the party panel itself?

Why didn't he fight against the disastrous election at the National Assembly? Why didn't he prevent a Yahaya Bello that clearly worked against the party in the Kogi elections, from flying the party banner in the bye election?

Oyegun is a useless party chairman who has lost the respect of all and sundry in the APC. He commands no authority at all as party chairman.
u be mu.mu, the bone of contention in the primary was just 2 votes, now add dat 2 votes to olusegun Abraham he will still loose so u and ur Tinubu are useless u hear.

When did awarding contract become funding of party? It happens like that in the US too. Trump has started giving out positions to people who supported him from grassroot to the top. All of them can't get government post. Contract is a sure way also.

Contracts and appointments are very different things. Contracts go through due process to eliminate corruption and nepotism thereby ensuring competent company implement the contracts. I am shocked that you are demanding a return to the days of man know man .

I couldn't help nodding in agreement when I saw a similar post you made here: https://www.nairaland.com/3498797/ondo-poll-apc-leaders-divided#51593996.

You submission is faultless on many levels, and on the back of it, I can't help but feel even more disappointed in Mr. President considering the deference and other sacrifices that Tinubu made for his and the party's sake.

He has been lackadaisical for far too long, as if to suggest he doesn't care who gets what.

Political relationship is one of give and take. He doesn't seem to realize this.

Lots of mistakes have been made that cannot be explained away.

He's a delusional old man. He doesn't want to be bothered. He believes we should sympathize with him. He also believe we should blame Jonathan and past presidents instead asking him to face the task at hand.

Buhari just want to be left alone to be president without doing the work of a president.

This writeup will only appeal to the bloodied noes bitter afonjas. grin

The world doesn't revolve around Tinubu and buhari. You guys should get it into your heads. Even if Tinubu leaves APC today, it wouldn't be enough to bring down the party.

Just like that morning program on TVC with Yori Folarin, where all they talk about is Buhari and Tinubu, with their dedicated callers who call in to align.

Had Tinubu been living in aso rock like mamman Daura, these bunch of people will not care if the country burns. They'll keep singing the praise of buhari and Tinubu.

This truth might be very bitter to stomach, but Tinubu lost relevance the day Aketi won Ondo without his help. Aketi tried with his help in 2012 and lost. Now he has won, further buttresses the fact that Tinubu is not god and can't make anyone...not now.

Anybody aligning with Tinubu now is asking to be sidelined. Expect many defections in the south west to the APC from other parties and their loyalty to Abuja instead of Tinubu. The man is finished! His problem is that he let the praise get into his head and thought too high of himself. He was fighting so many battles and persons at the same time. They have all conspired to pull the rug from his feet and he can't rise again. One secret you people don't know is that the only thing Tinubu wishes for is to reconcile with Buhari and displace Fashola and Co. Dazoll

Bye bye to Asiwaju.

I don't see Tinubu being finished politically in this period of PMB's leadership of APC. The main issue is that PMB doesn't give jobs to boys that much and Tinubu is notorious for being that man that does that in quantum. While its easier to be happy to sly Tinubu today just to show how unhappy he is, soon they'll see that PMB doesn't give contracts and they'll begin to get unhappy with him.
And for Tinubu, I think he needs to tone down his greed otherwise, he will be politically naked soon. But, PMB even risked a rebellion against him by those boys.

I like people who bring logic to an argument, without sentiment. You are very right, but what made you think Buhari won't start doling out jobs when he gets desperate? After all, the man has shown to be the most desperate politician alive!

When he cried at the ICC in 2011, I told my friends that Buhari should not be allowed near the Presidency. That a man for that office should know not to mix emotions with the demands of that office. That should this man win, sentiment would cloud all his actions in office and he displayed a desperation yet to be seen. As 2019 approaches, Buhari, the desperado shall rear his ugly head again and buy and bulldoze everyone out of sight. Where will Tinubu get the resources to match him? Lagos state? Osun state? His businesses?

We would soon see how corrupt or saintly Buhari is...

The same way PDP survived for 16 years. What is the matter with that? Give the party people contract to execute. You can't give all of them posts to occupy. Giving them contracts to execute is the only way to keep them happy.
So that pdp model was ok for since you are advocating the same model for apc. If why did we remove pdp?

@OP

It's obvious from your post herein that you are an uninformed and biased politician, and of course, a Tinubu apologist. Actually, the series of defeats Tinubu suffered since his venture into politics at the federal level points to the fact that all the while he was lording Lagos politics, he was just in the class of a manipulator not a diplomat as many had thought (you still do - wake up). . . . As the saying goes; manipulators lose credibility but diplomats gain it. So, far what I see from your post under discussion is a cry of a served manipulator.

In politics 1 plus 1 is never equal to 2. There's a difference between when a leader is dealing with his proteges and when dealing with associates. Most proteges assumed humbleness are at best servitude rather than loyalty. You never can know the true character of a man until he assumes full independence. A protege will worship you so long as her immediate needs are met. Wise men never converts slaves to associates.

Now talking about Akerek the Ondo governor elect, it baffles me to hear most of you assumed that it was Tinubu that brought him into partisian politics. This is quite laughable. He was at best Tinubu's associate never his boy. The mere fact that he once supported him didn't in anyway made him his boy then. He never conscript him into the race then, instead he (Tinubu) bought his proposal. I still maintain that an associate is different from a protege (boy or servant).

On the events that took place during the NASS elections, what many of you Tinubu apologists and he himself failed to realize was/is that he's just a component of the components that makes up APC. Overconfidence is a bastard. Saraki and his associates only thought him a reverse of politics 102. Lol. The president would've made a fool of himself if he had intervened as you herein wished. Tinubu is not special that's the message.

On Kogi matter, it's still the same case. Yaya Bello did what every conscientious politician in his position then would have done. He didn't lose the APC primary to Audu on a level playing ground, so someone like me wasn't surprised he acted the way he did. And luckily for him, the unexpected happened to Audu which finally perfect what was to be. . . . his ascension to the seat.

Why must it always be either Tinubu's way or no other way?

I love your analysis. But do we really see Buhari doling out contracts next year to boy? I don't see him doing that. He'll probably wait to the second quarter of 2018 giving contracts to boys and by that, he'll have loose his political destiny. People now know better. If a man can wait till a year before election to 'appease' the boys, such a man will be viewed as more dangerous .
Unless he does do magic by 2017, he's done and dust politically.
