Why should I give thanks to Him, you ask

The situation looks so bleak

Listen to the voice of reason
Give thanks in and out of season
At least, thank God you're still alive
'Cos some of your mates are not alive

The situation could have been worse?

Thank Him at least for this

Some have had it worse than you

Receive all thanks and thanks

In everything, give thanks to God
