Call this a counter thread and you'll be right.
Anyways this is a response to an earlier thread that finds its way to the almighty front page without thorough investigation/verification. ( https://www.nairaland.com/3543639/mmm-pastor-mathew-ashimolowos-kicc )

Please read what Wikipedia has on Richard Raymond Rufus (the ex English Footballer)

In December 2013, Rufus was declared bankrupt after a £6million failed investment,[4] which cost his church £5m.[5]

In November 2015 Rufus was branded a fraudster by a specialist civil court judge following an £8 million loss to investors.[6] Rufus had operated a £16m Ponzi scheme involving over 100 investors including members of his family and congregation members of churches he had attended. He pocketed more than £3 million to fund his lifestyle. The Insolvency Service described the case as "one of the worst" ever. Rufus was given a 15-year bankruptcy restriction order.[7] At the end of November, he left his roles with Charlton Athletic in the club's academy and the Community Trust following the fraud investigation.[8]

Now, I really do not have any affiliation the owner of MMM or its agents in Nigeria and elsewhere, but I do have a problem with people badmouthing things they do not understand and thereby causing damage to other people's business directly or indirectly.

A lot of false news has been emanating from numerous source claiming to know MMM/MMM-Nigeria so well. And I am yet to find any of those junks (especially the ones from our "news professionals"wink useful in anyway.

You don't have you drag an innocent man's name in mud just so you score a cheap point. It only does not expose how weak you are, but also reveals how unintelligent you are.

First of all, Pastor Matthew has nothing to with MMM.
Secondly of all, MMM has nothing to do with the Mr. Richard Rufus (the former English football player)
And thirdly, the fraud case didn't happen in 2016 but 2013.

Now, how did you manage to merge and cook-up a story of such?

Did you write this post out or love for Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of KICC or out of hate for MMM-Nigeria?

I believe you don't need a deep philosopher to tell you how awful this garbage of yours taste to those sane at heart.

We're not a toys, you can't push our buttons.
So, bros I beg commot for here...

I think you're the confused one Herr. Nowhere in the original writeup did they mentions anything about MMM. Or wait, do you think MMM is the only Ponzi scheme in the world? If you like, you can keep trying to get free money, reaping where you didn't sow from that MMM, but at least read through a report before you make a post like this.

Unless you're honestly new to the internet, then you can't say you're unfamiliar with bloggers and sensational headlines. But all through the report, MMM was not mentioned once. It was probably put in the title for people who might not immediately know what a ponzi scheme is.

The mods that put it on the FP even modified the title.

If the MMM as you say is a 'honest business' then why are you so concerned about people 'dragging you down'? Unless you're trying to reap where you didn't sow, that shouldn't be a factor. After all, even E-money has been accused of blood ritual but he knows how he gets his dough so he's less concerned
