Its simply demand and supply. The same thing happens to air transportation. Did you check the cost of flights? They increased by over a hundred percent during this period. How come nobody complained?

Instead of blaming the government of the day for the inflation in the land, some dolts are making this about Biafra. These transporters are business men and all they want is profit. They wouldn't needlessly just hike the fare for the sake of doing so. Things are bad at the moment and i don't think they would want to run at a loss. Direct your complaints to Ohanaeze Ndigbo and not private businesses.
