Being pure in heart can be traced to these things listed below.


1. A heart that permits no immoral thoughts.
When your heart is preoccupied with pleasing God and doing those things that gives glory unto God, it's an indication that you're pure in spirit.

2. A heart that bears no hatred of another.
Envy holds sway in a man when he feels joyful at another's misfortune or is sad when better things come his neighbor's way. The envious man rejoices at another's troubles and is cast down when all things goes well with him. If you don't indulge in this it's an indication you're pure in spirit.

3. One's pattern of dressing.
No much ado here. The way you dresses speaks much about who you are. Be moderate in the way dress.

4. A heart that is compassionate and forgiven.
Someone that is pure in heart bears no grudges against his neighbors and is quick to forgive.

5. A heart that thinks of God only.
A man that is pure in heart longs for the things of God only. As recorded in Galatians 1:10 "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ".
