Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji Holds Maiden Matriculation Ceremony

The Maiden Matriculation Ceremony of Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji, Ondo State for first set of National Diploma Students of the institution will hold on Friday 10th February, 2017.

According to information made available to newsmen on Tuesday by Management of the Polytechnic, the event will take place at School Hall within the institution's take-off site located at Oke-Alafia street in Ile-Oluji.

327 students were admitted for two years National Diploma Programme for 2016/2017 academic session in five departments; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics, Accountancy and Statistics Department.

It would be recall that former President Goodluck Jonathan established the polytechnic in March 2015 alongside other three polytechnics in Nigeria.

Our Correspondent reports that the polytechnic commenced academic activities in February 2016 with admission of over 100 students for sub- National Diploma programmes in five departments.

Outgoing Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Julius Oluwole Olufaderin
Adetimehin, Jimoko II, delegates from Federal Ministry of Education, Parents and Well wishers of newly admitted students are expected to grace the occasion.
