The Yoruba Initiatives (TYI), a Socio-Cultural and Non-Political group in the South-West has cautioned against the growing agitation to break-up Nigeria. The group said this in a statement issued by its Spokesman; Mr Fola Olamiti on Monday in Abuja. Olamiti stated that the decision was reached at the end of the second meeting of the group held in Ibadan.

Fake story sponsored by those benefitting most from One Naijeriya controlled by the born-to-rule who can kill at will without any repercussion.
Fola Olamiti should reimburse those who paid him for this shoddy job.

who is holding them?

Have they not been agitating to leave?

Did they not fight a war of secession?

Why are you not fighting to remove them from the union if you have so much animosity for them?

With the events enfolding in the country now, the Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani collaboration will soon be tested. Will it stand or collapse?

There's so much noise over this matter. People often agitate for one form of separation or self governing in all parts the world so it's nothing new.

What surprises me is that upon all the criticisms, you are still unwilling or should I say afraid to let them go.

You are not even making any sense boy. Are you saying that Yorubas are the ones stopping your people from having your Biafra? What sort of nonsense talk is that? If you want Biafra, relocate enmasse back to your region and see if Yorubas give a flying fuvvck. Until you lots do that, folks won't take y'all seriously.

oh so it is we that should remove you from Nigeria so that you can start shouting persecution again abi?

If you truly want your republic why not go through the proper channel.

The protests you guys have been doing so far is just so that you can produce the president at the next election.

Same old boring overflogged yoromuslim line.
The last time they relocated before breaking out officially, your yoruba skulls were mobilized by hausa masters to throw bombs into Biafra and used as willing shields to collect Biafran bullets.

When we break the country, you can make laws to keep out Biafrans, your muslim business.

Obasanjo has become President after that one. Osinbajo is now vice(acting president at the moment). If Ojukwu no fear, why did he eventually abscond?

See my Igbo brother, those ibos that are really eating from Naija money are not interested in breaking up. Its just a few that feel neglected that are pushing you younger ones around. And the truth is, you are all not telling yourself the truth. If truly you wan break, let all ibos first relicate to Biafra. Then you can start proving your points.

Keep deceiving yourself. The only reason you guys want to leave is because you know you dont have what it takes to compete against others, you'll never have your way as long as Yoruba and Hausa are in the picture.

we are united cos we can not do without one another. It is only politics that makes Nigeria to be looked the way it is.

You obviously did not read to understand the message of the poster you quoted. This reaction of yours does not in anyway relate to the point he/she raised.
This is a brazen manifestation of comprehension defects. Very common among nairalanders.

Yes, but they can never really be the mouthpiece of the Igbo nation or ever be taken seriously by the government. They will be treated like the criminals and touts that they are by the national security.

The Igbos have their elected legislatives and executives who are their recognized mouth piece nationally and these are the only ones who voice can be taken seriously by anyone.

So this comment of yours is based old news? What about the new Ohaneze leadership elected a few weeks ago under John Nwodo? You should be moving on recent news not something from 2 years ago. Check the below

there is no unity in the Zoo neither shall it ever be.that is the fact.people with different religious and ethnic views can't be bounded by Lugard since 1914 and after 100year it is a sorry state of failures all over and you expect the new generation to be silent?

Do you think that Yoruba is having its way?ask TINUBU and Afenifere including other Yoruba group who keeps crying for restructuring if they are having there way despite licking Hausa ballz.
