Your wife can apply for SPOUSE WORK PERMIT VISA. Some people apply with their spouses and get visas, however, you have to show sufficient proof of fund. Good luck

What I do??!! grin
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by deedee0: 4:24am On Mar 06, 2017
@Khasm Someone once did this in part 6/7, can't remember. Applied for her husband immediately after she got hers, and before leaving Nigeria. That was in 2015, if nothing has changed in that regard, it is possible.
It is not advisable to put in an application for 5 people at once. Your wife can apply for a SOWP to move or visitor visa to visit you.

Thanks @folaroyal. It's better I back out.
But what I don't understand is this. From the refusal letter from CIC, they did not check the boxes for either 2yrs or 5yrs ban. So I've been think could it be an error from the VO? Cos I don't know if I should go with d 2yrs ban or five yrs ban or better still, should I send a mail to them to know d length of the ban? Thanks

They will not put it in your refusal letter, the correspondence they sent to you before the refusal has already stated the punishment for misrepresentation.

Get your gcms notes bro, that way you'd know if indeed you're banned or otherwise. The duration of the ban is most likely stated in your gcms notes.

Ok, no problem! Ow long heart attack u need?? 4 months? 6months? 1 year? And at what time of the day will you prefer it? Lol

You will not and we will NEVER help you develop any form of heart attack biko! grin
You did a good thing, so worry less. You can now see updates on your application having linked it. All communication from CIC will be from your account. You should be checking your mail regularly for a notification of an update(if you ticked d box for notification in your acct) as well as the account. Relax, everything is in order.

grin cheesy don't mind me! Thank you for the information... God bless you

Wh province are you? Also, is it possible to accumulate enough funds to pay tuition fee by working? Either part time or full time

I am in Saskatchewan. It is possible but it would take its toll on you. If your program allows you to work full-time during summers (and you're lucky enough to get summer jobs) and you cut down on expenses you can do it but trust me... It is difficult than it seems although not impossible.

Well in my opinion it's almost impossible and it also depends on hw much ur fees. In uottawa where d fees is abou 8500 per term, doing minimum wage job or slightly more than minimum wage jobs at 20 hrs per wk will barely cover your cost of living per month. That is if you even get get up to 20 hrs. This is the reality. What alot of guyz do here is to go on break during d summer and work full time for about 4 months, dats when u can raise something tangible.

Well, it's best for one to always follow the laid down guidiance and avoid any process that does not represent such.I will assume that an acceptable fingerprint must be done under supervision(official or non official) unless otherwise stated.A supervising signature has to be signed.
The officer in quote could be prosecuted if found indulging in a cut-corners stuff because it's a criminal investigative matter, precision of informations must be traced to a verifiable source.

We haven't really heard of this particular style here. Most people usually go to do it themselves and negotiate the amount to pay.

If that is what you were told, you don't have to advise people to follow suit. Advise them go there themselves and through the normal procedure to avoid a major setback or problem. Let their decisons there be at their own detriment. Don't aid it. It's also for your own good.
There's a Govt. approved laid down procedure to follow online in case you are abroad and require a police report..
Some representatives who are recognised hRegardshe process back-back.... You pay for the report as well as the service and courier.
Meanwhile... we should grow up in this country!.. You do not need to visit anybody in any of UK/US/CAN and other developed worlds to get a CRB background check done!!!

Such representative/organisation would sign an undertaking to have independently verified the information and finger prints on the application before it is forwarded to the govt which makes them liable for prosecution if there are falsification. That makes it authentic and acceptable.

NigeriaCRB criminality checking agency do this and pre-check all info submitted and sign as a representative of the applicant.

An individual helping anyone might not be able to verify info first before it gets to the govt where anything can go wrong. This is why we encourage people to do it themselves, if they can. The nigerian high commisions abroad also issue clearance to citizens resident there.

Hello Guys,

Applied online Feb 18 with upfront medicals and my bio metric was requested for immediately, did my Bio metric on 22nd of Feb, but till now on my application, Review of bio metric information is still showing Not needed at this time but my Application/profile status is in open status.

My question is, is this normal and how long does it take the bio metric to show/update on my online profile.

Thanks

It's fine if you are going to Montreal to study, but going with your wife or she applying for SOWP is another thing. Montreal would be difficult for your wife to work if she is eventually given a visa, because employers in Montreal would require she speaks French or have a knowledge of it before she's offered a job. This is not to stop your move, but for you to be aware of Montreal job market. It's not impossible to get a job without French knowledge, but it's difficult.
