This anomaly is becoming a recurring decimal in marriages especially down here in Nigeria. Often and on, we hear stories of ladies who undergo physical lashing/abuse from their husbands Where they not meant to be equal? Soulmates and friends? Is it really necessary to resort to physical assertion just to make your point or to show your dominance? Recently, a very close cousin and sister for the first time in her marriage of 5 years got this treatment and she's actually processing for a divorce from her hubby, though am urgin andpleading with her not to. She is more pained because this happened before her two kids aged 3.5yrs and 2yrs. And she's never believed any man would make her go thru such a thing! I have argued and pleaded for at least the sake of the kids. But she ain't moved a bit. She gave me a condition though. . . . .if i can give her a reason why i think this will NOT happen again? Or tell her how to forstall such from happening. Till date, all options i have given, she has punctured with enough proof of her husband's character. She's a very disciplined lady but the type that won't take any Sh**t from men. She do rather be a single mother with peace of mind Than under-go physical and emotional torture just to remain married. But in all, my effort has only been able to yield one result; get her to withdraw the Divorce papers but she won't live with her husband Oga don beg tire. . . . and there is no family member willing to take his case before the babe!! So people, I need CONCRETE reasons, How Do We Stop Or Forstall Wife Battering. Or even Boys who Beat their Girlfriends!! |

Why shuld a husband be beating his wife is he ma.d or drunk?is she a bag or an animal dat she shuld be beaten it baffles me why dis shuld occur in amarriage if d man has fear of god she shuld nt lay a finger on his wife. Even if d wife misbehaver d man shuld be patient cause d wife cannot just act eraticaly without smthg bothering her it stink nd if d man luves d woman he has no reason 2 beat her it just dat in dis system people fail 2 adhere 2 bible principles nd dat is why such arises |
