It seems that we simply differ on the terms used to describe those symptoms caused by curses. You prefer to say psychological while I prefer to say spiritual. While there are serious consequences if one go deeper into investigating the reach of these two practices into the human condition.
Psychology is severely limited in the results it can produce to suffering mankind.

Psychiatry on the other hand is extremely dangerous and harmful. One example is the infamous Frontal Lobotomy, they used and an Ice-pick and shoved it though the eye into the brain without anesthesia, then wildly scrapped it around hoping to damage the front of the persons brain.
