As i learnt, the natiomal museum was reestablished in 1959 by Keith Nicklin to accommodate eight hundred known ancestral figures (ekpu) of the Oron people which are believed to be among the oldest and finest surviving wood carvings in Africa. During the civil war, many of the wood carvings were looted and the museum was severely damaged. In 1975, the museum was reinaugurated and today houses the remains of the wooden sculptures and other ethnographic materials from across Nigeria. The museum also has displays of bunkers used during the civil war as well as a crafts village. Although I would like to criticize it using the following:

Road: the road to the meseum is so bad that you can cry...
Poor maintenance of the beach around it environs
The meseum itself is not managed properly and too numerous to put cus am tired of typing

This could be the images of the Aliens that co-existed with the ancestors those early days. People used to worship Aliens as Gods, even till these days, most of the Gods we worship are actually extra-terrestrials and aliens.
