Go to settings, locate app manager and search for "sensor hub", clear both data and cache. Don't also forget to "force stop" it, then restart the device. It will work perfectly thereafter. Maybe you should try Gazzy's advice. Simply restarting the phone also solves some of these minor issues.

The old batch that came with 8.1 cannot be updated to 9.0 base on reason best known to them. It's was stated clearly in umidigi community that manual porting from 8.0 to 9.0 will render the phone use.. only factory updates starting from and 9.0 can enjoy it to the fullest.


If not I would have moved to 9.0 but I don't want to risk anything at the moment now VAT have been increased to 7.2. but anyway anybody can try and share the limelight.
