Good day nairalanders, please is this kinda poop normal for a week old chick ? I don't know what to do, although no mortality yet and I'd like to know what vaccine to give them first

From the diagra, I can see brownish poop, and like you said it is a week old chick. I will say dont worry yourself. Depending on the schedule you have, or administer Gumboro on day 7 or 8, give them multivitamin and then you can administer a cocidiostat. The brownish poop is an indicatio of very mild coc in the developmental stage. Like I said if you dont have to worry. 1 Like |

Thank you bro...I just administered gumboro yesternight, but I continued with the anti-coccidant I have (Biazuril oral) today. I used it for 3 days consecutively before the vaccination yesterday, but it still hasn't stopped the poop. sammorad: |

michigano: My brother, Bio-Zuril is a very strong anticoc, it is meant for just 2 days. Too much of antibiotics and other drugs will slow down growth from experience. I advice you stop and place the birds on enough multivitamin. While you watch their poop and other behavioral patterns. Don't forget your Lasota between day 13 and 15 All the best 1 Like |

House please which concentrate is very good for raising broilers? I had been using Breedwell professional feed which is excellent on the birds but the price is something else. With this lockdown hardship, I even sell below cost price. Kindly help me with an affordable but high quality feed formula. Hoping to learn from you people. |

Est mix wsp 2. miavit or amintotal (multivitamins) 3. lasota vaccine 4. gumboro vaccine 5. onions/garlic/pawpaw leaves (raw) for deworming 6. poxcure or use raw palm oil for fowlpox Day 1: multivitamins Day 2 -6: antibiotics + anticocci + multivitamin Day 7-8: deworm using onions or garlic or pawpaw leaves (1 small bulb in 1 drinker) Day 14: lasota + milk Day 15 -19: antibiotics + anticocci Day 21: gumboro + milk Day 24-25: deworm organically Day 30 -34: antibiotics + anticocci Day 35: poxcure or use raw palm oil in water (2 spoon in drinker) Day 38-39: deworm organically Day 44 -48: antibiotics + anticocci Day 52-53: deworm organically Day 58 -62: antibiotics + anticocci In between the free days, give multivitamin.
