Aaaaand it's a wrap.
Not a particularly strong ending chapter tbh but the story had already basically ended in the previous one. Too bad we didn't get a timeskip.

All in all though, I'm happy I gave this manga a shot. I didn't have high expectations for it originally. I just found Nagatoro domming Naoto to be amusing and decided to pick up the manga after the first season of anime.

This proved to be a good decision as Nanashi was able to pivot seamlessly from an admittedly mean-spirited "writer's barely-disguised fetish" type of story to a surprisingly wholesome romcom.

When you compare the final chapter to the first chapter where Nagatoro makes Naoto cry or the original doujin where Nagatoro repeatedly kicks Naoto in the behind for, I kid you not, 40 panels on end, you really appreciate the character development and possibly the development of the writer of this manga.

I'm definitely looking forward to Nanashi's next work.
