If Bihari dies in office, then it should sound a good warning to the northerners that God doesn't want any more northerners as president of Nigeria or else the harder they come, the harder they fall. Be warned, we are serving the living God. |

I would like a new face in Politics for once There was this man that tried to contest against GEJ under PDP in 2015, I think he is Abdulsalami Abubakar's son, he didn't win because of the incumbent thing of course. If he can contest again under PDP with Donald Duke as his running mate, they could pull in enough votes to win |

We need a breath of fresh air new breed of policticans . Like macron in France enough recycling of old garbage Aliko dangote. Would have my vote if he ever decides to run, he has the popularity, charisma and money to finance and election without being indebted to some party Or political god fathers that means he can run the country without any body holding his hands. I think he will make a great president |

LordAdam16: Wow. Good talk. I dont need to know who you are,but your words explains everything about you. So because the northerners want 8years tenure and if they dont get it,they will start killing people? Ennh they should start now. Why didn't they kill people during obasanjos tenure, why didn't they kill people during yaraduas tenure?. They started this killing during GEJ tenure, and Gej couldn't do anything about it because he was a weak ,gready man. He his only after the money. See,like it or not buhari is already weak, its either osinbajo because the president now before 2019 and osinbajo can have a second term then win. But if buhari survives till 2019. Bukola saraki only needs a very good popular south south or east politician under the umbrella of PDP .if PDP can be in other and gain support from apga, accord. . Them go win land slide. Atiku is just a thief. He only wants the money. Since he left the VP. What's has he done to impact anything in the country? right now.. South south and east will never vote for buhari, especially with the nnamdi KANU issue. So the only person that can win the presidency is A Yoruba president and a IBO man as Vice. 1 Like |

I'll go for Elrufai, he shown class in management and strengthening institutions. Kaduna currently is the most transparent state. Sadly, his reforms might seem not far reaching cos he's dealing with a vastly illiterate population. His doggedness will do Nigeria a lot of good. He's perhaps the only one left that will look anyone in the eye without batting an eyelid. Others will buckle under the next set of cabal. I fear Osinbajo capacity to defy alternate powers. However, if as usual sentiments will come to the fore we may suggest Okorocha, Atiku, Nnamani, Duke, Peter Obi, Pat Utomi, Fashola, Ribadu etc. |

abescom: Buhari is a god in the North. The last Northerner who had the same clout as Buhari's post-2014 clout in the history of Nigeria is Sir Bello. Buhari is infallible and can do no wrong to the North. Right now he is bigger than Nigeria. Unless you're being insincere or not observant. Let Buhari die today in office and you'd understand what I'm talking about. You think that police officer saying he'd kill 200 people if Buhari dies was joking? Or do you think he is the only one who has that mindset? Let that man rule until 2023 or he is tired. Any short is an invitation for anarchy. GEJ's presidency resulted directly or indirectly in the loss of live of at least 20,000 people. When GEJ said he conceded to save lives, you think he was being weak. Over 3,000 people have been killed by the Herdsmen. In my native state of Delta, there are communities where people pay herdsmen to farm on their own farmlands. All of these are signs. Don't stay in a southern city and shout about nobody is bigger than Nigeria, because there are at least two dozen people who are bigger than Nigeria and Buhari tops the list. -Lord |

ndukwejoe: Really? Who is the other person who will stop them? The Herdsmen ramped up their attacks in 2014 in the buildup to the elections and continue unabated because Buhari is smart. Whoever comes after him would be also smart as it is a trap. Whoever puts pressure on them would be accused of genocide like GEJ was accused of when he started his offensive, and that's when you'd notice saboteurs in the same military. In Delta and Benue herdsmen are being supplied by helicopters. In fact, 2019 no too far. Let me see whether it is your prayer or blabbing on NL that would stop Buhari from re-emerging if he chooses to re-contest. Buhari has been painted as the patron saint without blemish. Every other politician that'd contest against him has a skeleton that'd be earthed and he has all the important parastatals firmly under his control, from the military to law enforcement to INEC to petroleum ministry. Take it from me, there is nothing Buhari would do that'd make him lose 2019 election if he contests. -Lord |

maclatunji:buhari does not need to be everywhere to campaign in 2019 like he did as a contestant in 2015. His second tenure will not be as tedious as this cos it's going to be about consolidation. In order to keep the party together, some forces(including Tinubu ) will cajole him into contesting , when he wins, he'd stay for a short time and probably step-down for Osinbajo to take over smoothly without having to fracture the party due to another primary. This is a reply to omenkalive too. |

adeoluphilips:Nuhu Ribadu was roundly defeated in his states governorship election how can that person then make an impact in a presidential contest? He is also in PDP so in the same ship with Lamido. All those VP candidates aren't even in APC, how then could they be nominated. And for sure PDP is dead and can't make any tangible impact in 2019. |
