You are just part of the "everybody".....What are you doing with your own brain? Contribute your own bit to the advancement of Nigeria. Don't think of what your country can do for you, think of what you can do for your country! 3 Likes |

Well, fate cannot be predicted or controlled, It's favors are unmerited. If he has a billionaire commit 200 million which is 10 times more than he sought for, and he's asking for more investors, then I have doubts about him. But maybe it's just juvenile but he should focus more on the plan with what's already on ground rather than getting more money 10 Likes 2 Shares |

How sure are we that he has really gotten the N200million funding he claims to have gotten? What if this is a clever strategy to attract investors? 2 Likes |

Op congrats to the boy, but I can tell you that good number of Nigerian graduate can do more than that in business if the fund (money)is available... As a teenager I grew up where agricultural produce are a major business and I can tell you with little fund I am good to go... Is it cocoa, red oil (that I even have the refinery), palm kernel etc... Op the problem is fund (money) many are talented when it comes to business... 2 Likes |

JohnNgene: True, pretty clever. He mentions two billionaires. Is Linda Ikeji really a billionaire? The Nze fella never heard before. However, a commitment is different from the actual cash. 1 Like |

This one of the most inspiring and motivating news i will ever read on Nairaland. It reminds me so much of myself when i was just 17years old and in the second year of my university education. That was when i started my sojourn into the world of ideas, business and money making - all thanks to a more matured and business-savvy friend i had then. Every night, before we read in class, we would draft out business ideas, sieve them, analyze them, note the financial implications and which one we could launch out immediately. Before i clocked 19, i had already set up a small game-house business in partnership with a saloon in my area in Abia state. Even though things didnt exactly go as planned as a result of certain mistakes and other commitments, i really learnt a lot from that venture. Now, we are really working towards being a large scale importer of men shoes, with the prospects of even beginning production here in Nigeria in the nearest future (by God's grace). My point is, our young ones should focus more on honing their business acumen and skills. The days of blue chip jobs are fast phasing out and it is now more of "what you can do with your brains and hands". To all lawfully hustling Nigerians out there, i say: God bless your hustle! Meanwhile, you can check out some of our available shoes 6 Likes

That guy is spewing rubbish. And he is just learning attention seeking. Linda Ikeji is affable and and a media personality hence could be seen by everybody. So he needed 20 mill and got 200 mil. Who would give him that kind of money at 18 when he probably had not managed even a 100k biz. What experience doea he have to manage 200 mil. And the person won't take interests abi? And he is still looking for more investors after getting ×10 of what he wanted. Ge will return 10bn in 2yrs with 20mil indeed in nigeria with cost of running biz and vagaries associated with bizness in a capricious country. We can just believe anything in naija. That's the same way they said one moribund resort in Bauchi had 3m pee night rooms. 8 Likes |

My people I am very excited for this young man.... I hope he surround himself with like minded men. What we do is pray God give us that SINGLE idea that can turn our fortunes around, then the connect and patience. The funny thing is lots of us have such lucrative idea(s) but haven't gotten the connect and this in turn is quite frustrating. Thankfully, I also meet someone who bought into one of my ideas last week and we almost through with the necessities. He's investing in millions for now. So my guys, keep doing what u know how to do best, get as much info on ur passions. Peace! 2 Likes |

makingmy:Linda Ikeji did not believe in you ....the other Billionaire who gave a 200 million naira commitment is the real deal. Those who believe in you put their money down.Linda was most likely jealous that a younger person was about to over take her and her silly blog that is solely known for promoting homosexuality in Africa and environs. God be praised! You shall go places. |
