How about the old popular myth involving Tafawa Balewa and Sardauna? It was told that Balewa had to whisper to Sardauna, "Sardauna kife kopin ka." This literally translate to "Sardauna, turn your cup upside down" in English. The puveyors of this seeming anecdote said Sardauna was ignorant of the European table etiquette of turning the tea cup upside down to signal satisfaction to a serve else the cup be refilled. Apparently, Sardauna's cup was refilled several times to the embarrasment of Balewa. 3 Likes |

Ofcourse Ibadan is bigger than Kaduna population and geographical wise. There are facts you can easily cross check without arguing blindly. Ibadan used to be the largest city at least in Nigeria before population explosion in Lagos and Kano. Today, Ibadan according to the Nigerian census (2006) is the third biggest city in Nigeria. Only Lagos and Kano have more people. And she still remain the city with the largest landmass in Africa at least. OlaSpeaker: 2 Likes |

okooyinbo:eyaaaaaaah! uncle pele oooooooo.......The entire Oyo State covers approximately an area of 28,454 square kilometers (10,986 sq mi) and is ranked 14th by size Kaduna covers about 46,053 square kilometers (17,781 sq mi) and is ranked 4th, Ibadan is sure the largest city in Nigeria with total area of 3,080 square kilometres (1,190 sq mi). But sorry I'm not talking about which city is the largest or not Kaduna is a state and to say Ibadan is more populated than Kaduna with just 3 million (as estimated in 2011) to Kaduna with population of over 6 million according to 2006 census alone is nothing but a mirage which only exist in your mind. Next time understand the subject before you start an argument |

Maybe you should be specific in your writing next time, because Kaduna and Kaduna state are two different things. And Ibadan is definitely bigger than Kaduna, meaning the person you said was wrong, was actually right if you mismatch Kaduna with Kaduna state. There is no indication in your original contribution that you were talking about the state. And you even have the audacity to stylishly insult me. Ọmọ alailẹkọ jatijati. OlaSpeaker: |
