Since France 98 having watched his game vs denmark,I have come to realize that Kanu Nwankwo can be adjudged to be a man that has fallen from grace to grass.What happened to the kanu of ajax in 96 and Dream team (1)?It is only suicidal to play Kanu for 90minutes,every sane coach knows this .Agreed ,he has occasional brilliance and sparks but why depend on a player whose up and down is unpredictable.If he does not want to exempt himelf from the NAtional team,a coach should have the balls to eject him.

I will disagree with you on this. Kanu experience is valuable if used properly.

If i were Kanu i will step aside for the up and coming players. he can better serve the super eagles by switching over to the coaches staff.

Kanu remains the most gifted,talented and luckiest footballer in nigerian history. His records speak for him. He should not be written off like that. Remember he gave portsmouth f.a cup 2ys ago.
