(1.)Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Liaison Officer

Location: Abuja

Main Purpose
Give support to external administrative work and to the coordination team in obtaining working/travel permits, as well as all official contacts, procedures and importation of goods, according to local and international laws and MSF procedures, in order to ensure the smooth running of MSF activities.

Job Description
Together with the HR Co, ensure that all MSF staff has applied and obtained on time any visa, stay, travel or working permits in the mission country according to needs, and keep information on legal, administrative procedures
Maintain the support travel service in HQ informed about ongoing processes, specific situations or changes in the procedures related to visas, working permits, etc…
Know all the procedures that MSF needs to follow in order to import goods from any country and assist the mission in following these procedures, in cooperation with the LogCo and the logistic department of the mission.
Follow up clearances of MSF cargos and informs about any possible planned or extraordinary needs.
Establish and maintain professional contacts with relevant authorities, depending on the context and the needs of the mission.
Arrange meetings related to administrative issues for the Head of Mission or the HRCO as well as attend them.
Keep a complete and updated detailed list of all useful contacts in the Country/Mission with names, telephones, addresses and other relevant details.
Ensure, together with the MCT members that all MSF activities are running lawfully and in agreement with the Memorandum of Understanding in all administrative or customs related issues and inform about any possible risks or problems.
Ensure that no illegal money is paid to any authorities or any individual, promoting and sharing MSF principles and values at all levels.
Keep all documentation and files updated, properly filed and easily accessible for the internal users.

Requirements
Education Degree/Diploma in Administration or Communication related studies desirable.
Experience Essential previous experience of at least one year in related relevant positions, in MSF or other NGOs.
Languages English is mandatory, local language desirable.
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)

Remuneration
Monthly Gross salary of N189,000. (One hundred and eighty nine thousand naira only).

(6.)The Imo State Government is implementing a World Bank Assisted Financing of Community and Social Development Project (CSDP). The project has the objective to increase access of poor to improved social and natural resources infrastructure services in a sustainable manner throughout Nigeria. This will be achieved through the provision of grant support to benefiting communities for implementation of community driven micro Projects under approved Community Development Plans (COPs).

Job Title: Operations Officer

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Sensitise and mobilise Communities on CSDP project objectives and activities as well as issues related to HIV/AIDS
Facilitate Communities to undertake needs assessment arid prioritisation that are socially inclusive- and environmentally sustainable
Facilitate Communities in the formulation of CDP in line with (b) above
Build capacity of the CPMCS and LGRC Desk Officers as appropriate, through providing training in requisite areas e.g. Participatory Rural Appraisals (PRAs), Record and Book-keeping. Project Management Mainstreaming Gender, Environment and Natural Resources issues etc. as identified by the Project Officer- IEC &T
Supervise the implementation of the COPs to ensure quality assurance

Submission of monthly, quarterly and annual departmental reports to M & E Department on schedule, through the Manager, Operations
Set monthly and quarterly performance targets based on work plans.
Submit regular reports to the Project Officer or relevant section for whose activity s/he is deployed at any point in time.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A First Degree/HND in Engineering, Social Sciences, Biological and Natural Sciences, Business Administration, Accountancy or related fields with at least one (1) year post qualification experience in any area.
Computer literacy and willingness to learn arid work extra -hours and on week-ends is a must.
Applicants are not expected to be more than 35 years as at the time of recruitment and not above Grade level 9 if recruited from the Civil Service.

This post attracts remuneration commensurate with the model of entry and in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable in the Imo State Public Service.
