If this is the original version of the PIB then it is a welcome development. But the word "Governance" is what makes it look somehow. If the original PIB is passed, then the oil industry will be sanitized and more investments will be attracted to the sector. Be reminded that the main of the bill is to increase private sector investment, transparency and ultimately increase revenue from the oil and gas industry to the government. 2 Likes |

We needs PIB not PIGB. Because PIGB is not in electorates interest but for cabals/politicians in interest, they are good at passing bills for their interest not for electorates interest. Explain what PIGB stands for. |

Can we please float another political party and ban all these old and recycled kleptocracy from it? I'm thinking that's the only chance we have at taking back this country from the clawsame of these unrepentant demons in human skin. They keep killing every opportunity for progress. |

mexxmoney:At least it is better than nothing! passing it as a whole has been a great problem all these years. The NASS had to separate d controversial parts from d main bill by breaking it into parts to ensure easy adoption and passage. It is now left for them to now address the controversial parts of the bill which have been a bone of contention all these years. Let's hope they will do so 1 Like |

They should impliment laws that will benefit common Nigerians.. True & Honest Laws to *Subsidise food, Housing. It's expensive for common men to feed hence we have escalated crime rate. They 'politicians' build estates in the names of low- cost@1m/year for an apartment. That's a joke...civil servants can't afford that now. *Grevious penalties for corrupt persons. If they will ever do, they all have corruption case/cases to answer. Nigeria situation need drastic measures....45min rope-hanging by their neck is better. *Laws against media content piracy. Pirates sabotage every effort of a film maker thereby making them live in penury. Hence: pirate makes more than the producer itself. It's killing our dear Nollywood on a daily basis. |

This is just the restructuring of the Petroleum Industry in Nigeria with merging of agencies like PPPRA and DPR. Re-branding/Restructuring of NNPC and NAPIMS etc. It will be super to see the real bill passed. |
