How Smartphones Are Gradually Damaging Your Eyes - MUST READ by MizMyColi(f): 10:58am On Jun 02, 2017 |
A Silent Eye Killer Have you considered that turning on the brightness level of your device beyond 30% could be impacting your eyes in ways that could render them useless in a not too distant future? Are you part of my crew who just love handling their various range of smartphones and have a knack for ensuring the phone is really bright "so that it won't be too dull on the eyes?" Have you noticed that you can reflexively close your left eye and open the right one. But it's very hard to close the right eye and open the left one....or vice versa? Have you noticed that you view your smartphone for a while and then when you lift your head, you find that your eyes are somewhat blurry? Chances are that the muscle of that eye is weak. Have you also noticed that sometimes it feels like there is a stone or something in your eyes. This could be after effects of overly exposing your eyes to bright light on your smartphone, laptops and all. It is important to ensure that you keep the brightness on your smartphone at a reasonable level. If possible, turn it off completely whenever you can. Research and user experiences world wide has proven that using a smartphone at night, in the dark, especially during bedtime, can actually cause the feeling of momentary blindness. We should avoid stories that touch. In my opinion, the eye is the most important sensory organ in the body and should be treated with utmost care, especially as regards using smartphones. I thought im the only one noticing this thing cos this my eye has developed some wahala cos of smartphones, i even had to visit an eye specialist around last 2 months cos of what smartphones has done to me and he told me to get glasses to correct my vision. Well luckily for me, the new phone i got has Miravision and also BluLight defender and Adaptive Brightness so it helped reduce it. Prevention is better than cure. A stitch in time saves nine. 30 Likes 2 Shares

These days blue light is the major cause of serious eye damage... Smartphones companies should include the blue light defender feature in their coming devices. 2 Likes |

Informative thread op. Before you give kudos to where it doesn't belong, blue light filter is actually a Nougat feature. It's not exclusive to Tecno, however i usually tell my pals to reduce their phone brightness especially the iPhone users. Blue light defender and miravision are Mediatek technologies 14 Likes |

ollah1: I'm telling you. iphone is worst. Your hate for Tecno tho.... Who ever talked about it being exclusive now. It is a feature on my tecno device. Wetin concern me with where it come from kwanu? Blulight and miravision are mediatek technologies, and also a nougat feature? I take it, that was an error |

MizMyColi: Most iPhone users don't know jack. They belong to the "follow follow" crew. Lol, I don't hate Tecno, a novice will conclude the features to be of Tecno from the above comments. Blue light filter and blue light defender are more or less the same thing however, the earlier is a Nougat feature while the latter is Mediateks Miravision is also a Mediatek technology. 3 Likes |
