Tunji my nephew has always been a special guy right from his primary school days. I lived with my elder sister who is his mother so I know almost everything about him from childhood, he has always been my guy. Tunji has taste for good things, dresses, shoes, bicycles, storybooks etc as a young boy. He will save his pocket money to buy dresses and good storybooks while in secondary school, no wonder he is a lawyer today by God's grace. Now on his love story, Tunji befriended Layo right from 1997 when he was in SS111, I remember telling him that he was too young to have girlfriend then at 16. He continued with this girl who was then in the same class with him. They completed secondary school that year and Layo went to University of Ibadan to read Economics while Tunji was admitted to read Law at OAU. He completed his degree at OAU in 2004 and Law school in 2006, thereafter he started working at the Court of Appeal where he did his NYSC, while Layo began a career pursuit in the banking sector. Layo eventually started dating a big guy who was a customer of her bank and ditched Tunji in no time. Tunji nursed his wound for sometime and moved on. His next move was so funny. I asked him how far about his relationship early in 2008 and he gave me the most hilarious and seemingly impossible answer ever. There was a young SS111 girl named Ebere in his street then whom he usually took in his car to her school that was along the road to his office in Abuja. He said he's going to bring up the girl and marry her. I saw it as madness and tried to discourage him because of the age of the girl and the number of years it'll take her to complete her education but he as usual stubbornly stood his ground and started following up on this girl. Taking her to her school everyday, giving her gifts etc. In no time the parent of the girl no longer have any fear wjen Tunji gives her anything or does anything for her. Ebere completed her SS111 in 2008 and got admission to Kogi State University in 2010 to read Accounting. Tunji waited for Ebere to complete her university education, she graduated in 2015, completed youth corps in 2016. She now works in a private firm in Abuja where Tunji also works and lives. I attended their introduction in her daddy's house at Gwagwalada in March, my Aso Ebi is ready, by tomorrow, all road leads to the family house of Ebere in Agbor, Delta State for the celebration of this wonderful story of love. I am happy for my meticulous nephew who is finally getting married to his beautiful small girl of those days (now a very big lady) that I almost discouraged him from going after, he waited patiently and the girl didn't misbehave, I pray that God bless their union.
