Drgreatone:
Get a lipo4 with smart bms. The LVD can be set to 12v so it trips off the battery or play the human observer and ensure u switch of once battery gets to 12v

I like this new term grin grin grin

The LVD of my inverters are 10.5v.

Enjoy!

In fact i stopped observing and drain hell out of the battery. No more pampering. However, I hardly hit 11.5v.

Now available!

Powmr 12.8v 100ah (1.28kwh) LiFePO4 battery.
Price: 296,000
Location: Lagos. Waybill and dispatch can be arranged in less than 24 hours

- Comes with a free external voltage meter to show battery voltage in real time
- Made with Rept Grade A cells
- BMS (Battery Management System) gives a maximum charging current of 50A and a maximum continuous discharge current of 100A. But it can also support a discharge of 200A for 3 seconds. BMS offers relevant protection against over-charging, over-discharge, overload, etc.
- Operating voltage range is 10v - 14.6v, but BMS cuts off at 9.1v, lower than the LVD (Low Voltage Disconnect) of most inverters, so inverter will have no issues "waking up" after a shut down
- Can be connected in series or parallel to give 12v, 24v, 36v, 48v

Test report, Technical data sheet and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) in below folder:

Capacity Test Video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTtdMd25__s

Important summary of video test:
- After full charge, battery gave a run-time of 7hrs 30mins on an average load of 150w before reaching its nominal voltage of 12.8V (80% Depth of Discharge [DoD]).

- At inverter LVD (Low Voltage Disconnect) of 11.3v, battery had ran for 9hrs 16mins on same load, giving a capacity of 105ah - even higher than its rated capacity of 100ah

- Then it gave another run-time of 1hr 30mins on a DC average load of 20w, giving 107ah (7% more than its rated capacity) before BMS LVD at 9.1v.

This discharge test was done twice and capacity remained the same

We have 3 other test videos. Visit our dedicated thread to see more videos and testimonials:

How does the concept 'idle consumption' work
a) Is it the self consumption of inverter when it's power on without any load?

b) Does the idle consumption adds up to load when load is applied e.g inverter with 50w idle consumption, if 50w load is applied does it make it a total 100w load consumption?

Yes.
Don't know if there was a contrary.

@valto and other gurus please I need your advice on the best step to take

I presently have 2 different setup

Setup 1

5kva 24v felicity inverter , 60ah mttp felicity charge controller, 2 units of 220ah wet cell battery and 4 units of 280watt felicity panel

This setting power my tv and other appliances

Setup 2.
2.5kva inverter, 40ah mttp charge controller, 4 units of 150watt panel and 2 200ah dry cell battery.
This powers only bulbs

Setup 1 is working very smoothly without issues but I am having a feeling setup 2 battery is bad ( yesterday I put ON 8 energy saving bulbs of around 20watts each from 9pm and by 5Am the low battery sign began to blink)

If truly the setup 2 battery is weak, can I move the setup 1 battery to setup 2 ? and then get a good recommendation here on the best battery upgrade to use for setup 1

Both are on the same level

During my research, I discovered a solar-powered freezer that I believe would be ideal for my customer's ice block production business, enabling them to manufacture ice blocks for sale. Attached is the picture.

Has anyone had hands-on experience with this solar freezer? I've learned that it can operate on both AC and solar power, which is convenient. However, my client's specific requirement is a freezer capable of producing ice blocks, and I'd love to hear from someone with practical experience in this area.

A few weeks ago, we purchased a Hisense chest freezer, which unfortunately turned out to be a disappointing investment. Despite running it for three days, it failed to produce a full ice block, falling short of our expectations.

I'm seeking recommendations for a reliable freezer specifically designed for ice block production, beyond homemade solutions. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Will be waiting in the comment section.
Thanks all

The ice block makers I have seen in the markets are locally fabricated.

If you desire a freezer that uses DC power, check this out
