omotoda:I am curious, the 5kwh 51.2V battery full charged with a load of 800w(hyperbole), at night, how many hours backup will I get, also, does it mean I need a brand new inverter to run the battery, I have a 2kv inverter already, if yes, which product does the fan not make "help me help me" with less than 20% load(The Sunfield that I am using is giving me PTSD). In terms of solar panels, what numbers would be "perfect" considering that we are about to enter raining season. I was planning on upgrading and going off grid totally.. |

JJacko: Will look for the address for you but you can't locate it easily and will need to call Armstrong.... Any one who wants to buy 2.5kwh should let me know so that we can buy together cos the Armstrong guy said end users price is 590k but bulk purchase is 555k... |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by omotoda(m): 12:51pm On Mar 11 |
redgem: He is a thief. I posted the price earlier. Unit price is #555k, from 3 upward is #530k.I don't know why they hoard their address. I am not interested in their battery yet,if not I go locate their Lagos office by fire by force 1 Like |

dryakson: 555w jinko panel from Fouani * 2 = 12v 2kva 230-260k (cworth/SMS) 12V 100AH LFP * 2 from cworth (less than 400k) Or 12v 3.5kwh LFP 450k (if he doesn't mind wooden box) PV cables, 2.5mm corper cables , breakers (if he isn't buying the premium brands) will cost him about 120 - 140k While it is possible to get a workable system with your budget, you will most likely have to dispose some of them when you want to upgrade. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Dam5reey1: It's outright cheating and insensitivity to our intelligence. How can someone be so bold enough to post such ridiculous price when several people have listed the right price. Like someone observed earlier, this is a DIY thread,to encourage people free access to information and cheaper means of getting their renewable energy set up,not for some Shylock to come and drain people. 2 Likes |

In terms of solar panels, what numbers would be "perfect" considering that we are about to enter raining season. You need a 48V inverter, you can do Growatts ES5000 around 500k, check Sygnite and fouani. Provided you are using LFP batteries. Best efficient DC to AC is at 80% or higher, lets Assume 80% which means your 800w AC energy will take 1000w from the battery. The inverter support up to 6000w panel input For 5 hours your batteries will be at 0%, LFP allows you to do this. That is running it from 54V to 48V you will get 5kwh. |
