When an Igbo person is the richest person in Africa maybe I'll accept this (JK, even then I won't)!

Unfortunately for you Igbos, now it's a Hausa man that is the richest black man in the world, not one of your people cheesy!

I find it pathetic that someone even took time to look for all those Igbo "achievements" that no one probably even read quarter of and also trying to justify why it's the best tribe or whatever! Byeeeee grin!

BTW, we (Hausas) have Dangote, get on our level!!
Since I'm also half Yoruba Mike Adenuga the second richest person in Nigeria! (Also not an Igbo person!)

Hausas should not be talking because the only way you guys survive is by impoverishing the almajiris. Today, some will be sleeping in the streets of kawo, naibawa, unguwa uku, kombotso, mandawari, jakara, kurumi, and more. If you are that rich and you have over 5million children in kano alone sleeping in the streets, then your rich men are the most wicked men on planet earth.

Simeon Ononobi is Founder & CEO of SimplePay, an innovative payments platform that allows users with an e-mail address and a bank account to securely and conveniently send and receive payments online, sort of reminiscent of PayPal. What SimplePay is doing is however very unique to the Nigerian market. “I don’t believe that you can just borrow something from America and use it in this environment.

Gone are the days when natural hair was described as untidy and untameable. In recent times, Nigerian women are embracing their unruly kinky hair with all joy and pride. It has evolved into a sort of movement, where women have different online (and offline) support groups. They give tips on natural hair care and recommend salons and products. Their natural hair is seen as empowering.

While Nigerian women are not shocked at all at the different textures and length of their non-chemicalized hair, the same cannot be said of their counterparts in the US where hair, especially black hair, has its own politics and is not so widely accepted. There is still an ‘acceptable hair standard’ in the West, which black hair does not fit into.

However, Ngozi Opara, the founder of the Heat Free Hair Movement (HFHM)- a range of natural hair extension and wigs is all about giving more power to black women and showing that with they (with their thick black hair) are enough.

And Igbo states are doing such a great job right?(note my sarcasm)

Are we talking about the government or the people? Just because something doesn't favour you people you have to twist the topic!

Anyway...since we're talking about politics you should know that an Igbo politician is the richest in Nigeria according to the FBI. He most probably got that money after impoverishing your people.

Meet Chima Okenimkpe, one of the brains behind Gulder Ultimate Search

Every product is an outcome of an idea either properly implemented or not. Like most kids growing up in cities around the world, the big screens, either at home (TV) or on the highways (bill boards), were always something to look up to as they lit up with beautifully crafted appealing messages about products.

This week on Engine Room, I continue on my quest by bringing you the story of an African creative who through the years as continued to defy the norm, dazzling his audience with ground breaking ideas. Today, I bring you the story of Chima Okenimkpe, Executive Creative Director at Insight Communications.

Hausas make money through subjugation. They cut off the poor and amass too much through government. They lack competitive spirit that is why the run to government so as to be relevant. Dangote should have competed with people and not run down other people's businesses for him to grow. I don't count his business acumen as genuine and original. He only used the northern oligarchs.

Today iROKO is the largest Youtube partner in Africa, with over 500,000 movie licenses purchased. It has over 14 million hours of media content on its license rights and more than 800,000 registered users, making it the largest distributor of Nollywood content globally.

When you watch this video, you will see how far we have gone in china. We have also mixed with the locals by marrying them and even building factories even when they are stringent laws inhibiting foreign businesses from excelling. The last statements caps it all, we have more than 100 factories in this city not to talk of other cities in china that we produce garments, clothes and suits.

Igbos are doing great, its not about chest beating, where we have entered, you can not dream of doing anything there. You all call the chinese to invest in your back yard but we go to their back yard to invest there.
