How many times have you heard a teacher ask after a lecture: “so, what have you learned today?” and what you hear most likely would be a recap of the lecture. So, is recap equal to learning? Learning is inherent to humans, whether we are conscious of it or not. 


There are many definitions of learning. The most common of which is acquiring knowledge and skills, through studying, or from a bad experience. To understand this perspective of ‘learning in-situ’, there is the need to know what “in-situ” means.
