Oya, my people, I need some clarifications from folks here. I am not privy to Canadian Student Visa but ask me anything about the US' I will tell you. Here are my questions:1. Is medical compulsory for all prospective students? What sort of medical is done if yes? I will appreciate your forthright answers. Pls pardoned me as the questions might have been answered in previous posts. Thanks. |

limai17:Contact your school first to find out the last date for you to resume. Once, it get to the date and you still haven't heard from CIC, then you can defer citing delay in processing of your study permit application. |

folmus:Yes, completing a medical examination is mandatory for prospective student whose program will be more than 6 months in duration. There is such a thing as an upfront medical which you can do before you submit your study permit application. A confirmation sheet will be given to you to add to your supporting documents. Alternatively, you can also wait to be instructed by the embassy to proceed for one after they have reviewed your application. |

If you didn't do upfront medicals, chances are, that's a delay...So order your gcsm notes to know what went wrong...repackage, then refire...Don't give up! Bambog: |
