Prudento: Bros ehn, Just release yourself. Okay? Lol....... You have to remove your mind from the application to avoid high bp. Anyways it depends on how fast or slow they verify your application. I hope this helps |

Osiokoye:. Osiokoye, Please don't get tired of seeking for admission. You have a good CGPA (2.1). I best advise you stick to Masters program than suit for a PGD(That has less chances for visa approval). Check schools like: Memorial University of Newfoundland University of Windsor University of Manitoba. Trent University Have you ordered for your CAIPS file to know the factual reason why you were denied visa last year October. DON'T GIVE UP, YOUR ADMISSION IS CLOSE |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Osiokoye: 8:30am On Mar 01, 2018 |
Thank you. I applied to the university of Manitoba but didn't get in. The remaining schools you mentioned don't have Agricultural related courses and that's what I studied in school. Frankrobbn1: |

That was how I told a good friend of mine coming from warri to Lagos for meds and police character, na so I tell my guy to buy Nivea roll on for the visa processing that d police would need it for the police character processing. Lol My guy don dey loyal, not until I told him I was messing up with his head. I can play sha 1 Like |

Osiokoye:. Please don't give up easily okay. I know of a guy that you can connect with by name phocusjosh , he is also heading to University of Manitoba , Agricultural related course too. He secured part funding from the school, you can look for his moniker and pm him. He will be in the best position to advise you on what to do to secure admission. Get back to me after checking on him. All the best! |

samuel466:Yes, CAQ is a must for anybody going to Quebec province for study. You have to obtain this before you can apply to CIC for a study permit. All you need to apply for CAQ are : your acceptance letter from your school, data page of your passport, payment of CAD110. It takes 20 business days after the receipt of your documents is confirmed. You can read more here http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/obtaining-authorizations/certificat-acceptation/index.html 1 Like |

Helping my kid sister to share this... This was God involved...past history had 1st visitor visa refused then got 6month then 2017 5years visitor visa. Then study visa, for Jan 2018 but deferred to Sept 2018 Applied Dec 5 dad bday Confirmation Dec 6 Left Nigeria for Canada Dec 8 just had a baby needed mom so she came along she is 17 can't travel alone Request letter and medical call Jan 18th, request letter was for new admission letter and she did upfront medical, file was with LVO so communicated via email resolved that Medical passed Feb 1st Passport request Feb 8th Passport submitted Feb 23rd Approved and visa issued March 1st Documents Cic study form carefully filled Letter of admission Undergrads Neuroscience Proof of funds Dad and mum sponsor salary account less than 3M for both, shares, land doc, letter of support from dad (sch fees) and mom (feeding and accommodation) and their individual value. Just letters. Birth certificate Family information Passport and photo SOP and LOE included Toefl result of 108,GCE and WAEC great result like 5As and the rest Bs, I think this really helped and just explained the desires to study in Canada and have visited school couple of time during visiting and sister and brother attend currently. No custodian form No schedule A Very simple application, I was scared myself because of the 4MB under proof of funds had to remove some pages and let the importance once go through...Best birthday gift....This is God even after like 20 applications to CIC I still get scared..... 9 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 9:31am On Mar 01, 2018 |
ChuksEbube: They don't. They take your bank statement at face value except the statement is not looking authentic or something, they verify its authenticity. Many schools in the USA give out admission with even no bank statement shown, an affidavit of support is good by their standard. The USA embassy doesn't even contact any bank bank. Your interview happens all within 3 minutes, you know your fate. |

Hello, I will advise you apply with your pgd, since its taking forever to get Masters. If u have gone though previous threads u will come across peeps that have gotten their TRV with PGD. A particular person here(I think Part 12 or so) got this TRV with PGD within a month. We have also seen how PHD and Masters applicants have also been denied Visas. So it not about PGD, Masters or PHD, Its how well you present yourself to the VOs through your application. I have 2 friends that got their TRV to this same Conestoga College, they are in Canada as we speak. Please do not get me wrong, I am not trying to discourage you from getting your Masters, all what am trying to say is that you can get your TRV with ur PGD, You just have to submit the required documents and hava a strong SOP to convince the VO that you are a genuine Student. All the best Osiokoye: |

Good afternoon bosses, getting a student transcript is looking difficult due to the strike. Is there any other way I can get an unofficial Transcript to use for online applications. |

oyinbayode:Use paper if u have lots of documents to submit (I did paper route cos bank statement was over 800pages, and there was no way of compressing it into 4mb) Bottom line, none, none has added advantage. Cheers mate |
