Frankrobbn1: Better to be safe than sorry. Showing more funds than you really have is disenginous at best. Visa officers do catch up on it. I won't advice anybody to try it. After you paid your tuition, print your SOA. Not before. Seeing the tuition paid coming out of your account or that of your sponsor, gives major creds. Honesty is the best policy and has a way of vindicating you in the visa process. |

Hello guys please help a friend My mom is sponsoring me to Canada my tuition fees ,living expenses and accomadation for a year is 21,000 , my mom submitted her two statement of account one is running( Her personal account) 26m and her company account ( my mom is the ownership) which is also running 27m Now the problem is her first account ( personal account) has just 5 months statment instead of 6 months statment. guys can it be problem I intend submitting my application tomorrow pls help |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 8:35am On Mar 07, 2018 |
Mazi9: Shouldn't be a problem. The six months is only recommended. You might want to get a reference letter along with your SOA saying your mom has maintained account in good standing with the bank for a while. Make sure the statements submitted is clear with your mom's sources of income. Best! |

Hello everyone! please, I have a question. I recently submitted a study permit application for a two-year masters program. my admission came with a renewable funding package that will cater for tuition and living expenses. my uncle is sponsoring me and he provided a bank statement of over $100k. the problem is that he didn't indicate how much he will make available for my studies. however, I indicated in my SOP that he will support me with $5K per annum to supplement my scholarship. should I be worried about this omission? |

Goodday House, Just want to ask, has any Manitoba graduate applicant been able to secure admission? Think they are taking alot of time to give out admission. Applied since December 2017. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by WEIRDPC(m): 12:07pm On Mar 07, 2018 |
kobyfresh: Why worry over something you can't change? You've submitted, the best you can do now is hope for the best. Worrying will just give you unnecessary headaches. Hope, on the other hand, will give you strength and something to look forward to, while you wait for a decision. Best wishes. 7 Likes |

Hi fam, Thank you for your great work here. Pls I have another question o. After looking for different schools where I can continue as a graduate student (Master's), all effort has been abortive. Since my GPA is not strong (3.28 or 5). I told my uncles living in Canada and they told me to go for a diploma or certificate program instead. I have made my research about different schools and I have seen some colleges and universities I can apply to for a diploma degree in GIS. Please, how visible is this journey I am about to embark on. I want to start applying next week for September resumption. Also, I want to know about the fees. If the tution fee is $9k is it the exact amount I need to have inside my account or I need to have additional amount of money? Can I use a cooperative organization I am running as my sponsor? I will appreciate answers from you all. Thanks |

henrymor: To boost your chances when applying for PGD, make sure you apply to university for PGD instead of college. Apply only for 2-year program or more 1 Like |

Did u do upfront medicals or were u sent a mail to do ur medicals ? if ur answer to dis questions is a No, am sorry it's a refusal. But don't be worried, go collect ur passport, order for GCMs note and re-fire. cheers phemmzy96: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by makano: 7:53pm On Mar 07, 2018 |
Evening house, am sure we all had a great day.please I wanna ask two quick questions cos am planning of re-firing . 1. For PGD applications, apart from someone having 2:2, what other reasons can one use to convince the VO why he is choosing PGD instead of Masters. (Please for those of you that have gotten ur TRV with PGD, please ur contribution will be appreciated ). 2. I learnt the police report isn't an important document when applying and also Can one use a police certificate done in September last year for an application by March ending cos I spent 25k for the one I did in September last year, ND I don't think I have that much now for police certificate. Please I will appreciate ur contributions. Regards |
