But then does it really matter how a baby comes into this world? Having a baby through cesarean section (CS), does it make a woman less woman? Is it a sin? Is the devils handwork? Does it make the baby abnormal or less a child? For crying out loud, delivery is delivery. A baby is a baby. Even if the child was vomited “all join”.

Would you rather die or have your baby dead because you were insisting on having your baby through vaginal delivery?

The inspiration to write this article came from a story I heard recently, about a woman who lost her life and her unborn child during delivery because she and her husband said no CS. Wouldn’t it had been sweet and better if she had her child through CS and both she and the baby will be alive? God already in his wisdom gave doctors the knowledge to carry out CS in some situations that vaginal delivery won't or can't be possible.

I am not saying that going in for a full blown surgery is an easy thing, but if it is the only way out, why not?

I think I would love to go through CS, maybe to know how it feels and not judge CS by what I heard about it.

REASONS WHY I WOULD LOVE TO GO FOR CS

In vaginal birth you have to wait till your expected date of delivery (EDD), or till labor comes before having your baby, unlike in CS, you can go and lie down and ask the doctor to bring out your baby for you, when you think you are done carrying the pregnancy, provided it is up to 36 weeks at le SEE MORE AT http://www.thisdaymom.com/2017/07/cesarean-section-cs-versus.html

Having a cesarean is not a sin. However it is unwise if you plan to have multiple births. Cesareans can lead to adhesions, uterine rupture, and a host of other issues. Please only do it if it's necessary for your life and the child's.

Anyone that thinks having a CS in this day and age as abnormal or wrong is not worthy of being discussed with.
However, having an unnecessary surgery isnt the way forward either.
It all depends on what your obs feels is safe for you.

There should always be a medical indication for a CS, and not just to please your whims. Because its an elective CS doesn't mean there's no medical indication for it. Its usually because your because your obstetrician feels its unsafe for you or the baby to have a vaginal delivery.

Healing and recuperation from a CS takes longer.
I know every pregnancy carries it's own risks, so does every delivery. Having a CS delivery also carries it's own risks. You could react to any of the drugs from anaesthesia, your wound could break down, get infected after surgery, . You have increased your risk of having a blood clot post op etc.
No Dr would advise you to have an unnecessary CS and bring your baby out at 36weeks. More like from 38 weeks, unless it's medically necessary to bring the child(ren) out earlier There's always that risk of the baby staying in the neonatal unit if brought out earlier than necessary from things like jaundice etc.
Having a baby on a specific day still doesnt have to be by a CS either, as labour can always be induced. So thats definitely no sure advantage of a CS.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a CS btw, but any unnecessary major surgery shouldn't be encouraged.

i agree with you, but then healing from CS is also same as healing from episiotomy. it took me more than a month to poo without pain after i had my first child, the episiotomy took longer time to heal very well. labor can be induced when it is threatening. i know of a man that refused his wife going though vaginal delivery, he does not want the wife to go through that pain and probably the vagina not to expand, she goes for her cs at every 38 weeks for her three pregnancies. anywasys, the most important thing is for baby and mama to come out alive and well. labor can pain eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
