A sham's unlawful movement has been revealed in Kano after a man recognized as Yakasai Mohammed was captured for imitating as a Police officer and blackmailed a lady of N100,000 on the ground that the lady's child will be discharged from jail.

The report assembled uncovered that Mohammed met his Waterloo after inhabitants reached the Public objection Rapid Response unit of the Nigeria police on July 27.

Talking about how the flyer spread around, PCRRU Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Shogunle said the flyers were spread from the helicopter and was composed in English, Hausa and Kanuri dialect.

Talking about the impersonator's demonstration, Shogunle said the complainant met a fake policeman, Mohammed in court where he gathered N100,000 with an affirmation that the child of the complainant will be discharged from jail yet neglect to satisfy his guarantees.


Shogunle stated:

"Mohammed was captured and it was found that he is not a cop or court official but rather an impostor who circumvents courts in the Kano city, putting on a show to be a cop and a court laborer."

Having admitted to the wrongdoing of coercion, the cash was come back to the complainant and Mohammed was additionally charged to court for indictment appropriately and remanded in jail guardianship.

Abayomi Shogunle of the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit, thusly, asked general society against paying for safeguard, focusing on that it is free.
