Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy isn’t really impressed when he is referred to as a dance hall artist.

Burna Boy who is always widely referred to as a ragga or dance hall music act dare says he doesn’t want to be addressed or ever referred to as a practitioner of that genre.

The dreadlocks wearing artist declares I’m to be an ‘Afro Fusionist’. He says he is an AFRO FUSION Practitioner.

The “Run My Race” crooner made the declaration on twitter in the following words.

“Burna boy is “NOT” a “Dance Hall Artist”. “AFRO FUSION” is what Burna Boy Does. Love, Positivity and Truth!”

Burna boy would not be the first Nigerian artist to make such as assertion about making music called “Afro Fusion”. Davido first made this claim during an interview with Darden Ebro on Apple Music Beats 1 radio show.
