FOR PAST AGGRESSION

EPISODE 1(PURIFICATION)
I knelt down surrounded by six identical girls holding a pot of fire in my hands. It was amazing that the pot though burning didn't have any effect on me. I have been in this place for three months now going through series of rituals. The six girls called it the Purification. It was something out of a Nollywood movie or an Ernest Obi's movie. But it was real. Kneeling here thinking about all that I have been through, it wasn't funny. The six girls were dancing around me now, singing one of those songs that I don't understand. If anyone have ever told me that I could do this, I could laughed at the idea but here I was. And I know that I would still kneel down here with these people if the need arises. I have seen things that I didn't believe that existed. And I have realized that in this world, nothing, absolute nothing was ordinary.
One of the girls started talking. "Son of the soil, your Purification is complete ."
"The curse is broken" said another.
"You are now free from the curse of your fathers".Still another said. All of them seems to be speaking from where one stop.
"Your destiny is no longer tied to those before". The fourth said.
"Go for your path is clear." The fifth said
"May the spirits be with you."
They broke into another strange song and they started singing and dancing wildly like they were possessed. I could feel the relief that all was over. I don't know if all that I have done or gone through could stopped what has been happening to me but I was willing to believe.
Let me tell you the story of my life and the horrors that led me to this place.
