What would have happened if soldiers had killed Nnamdi Kanu on Sunday. Will Nigeria boil as his IPOB supporters have claimed? Or people will protest and forget about him after three days and go about their normal businesses?

If Kanu is killed, nothing other than ipob youths going amok and destroying properties in the east will happen. Nigeria won't burn as they are claiming, far from it.

Just as you did between 1967 and 1970. You destroyed Nigeria by sacrificing over three million of your senseless brethren to the Yoruba gods of iron, thunder and river while your lord and saviour ran to Ivory Coast with his children leaving you and your children's blood to be sucked by blood thirsty Yoruba gods.

Perhaps People like Sultan and Emirs and most Northern politicians would be assassinated in the coming days... and Their families also

Nigeria would then tumble...

Then like Assad of Syria we would wish we had avoided the part of violence.

An agitation is meant to be addressed, and the way the Nigerian Government is approaching this is wrong
kanu was not born when the biafran war started, but the seed of the struggle was planted in him as a youth.
The seed of the biafran struggle has been planted in the hearts of kids and teenagers in the east and the only way to stop the impending arrival of biafra is by addressing this agitation.
Else a 3yr old kid today will pick up the Barton and do greater than Kanu.
Address the Agitation, Address the Agitation
Ndigbo still cry of honest marginalization 50 years later.
Addressing this agitation is the only hope for stopping Biafra
Ndigbo are a peaceful people in all honesty

LOL. How will they get to the Sultan and Emirs, let alone, kill them?

What will happen is obvious. There will be rioting where Igbos would destroy the properties of fellow Igbos. Nothing more will happen.

Most likely what will happen is that most Igbos are going turn against the Nigerian nation while the die hard Biafran activist will take up arms. IPOB has been largely non violent. If Kanu is killed, no IPOBmember is going to believe in non violence any more. Many are likely to go underground only to resurface when they have acquired weapons and thats when the Nigerian Army will finally see that it was much better to be diplomatic with IPOB before they took up arms than after.

You think Igbos are dumb Northerners.

They know their real enemies...
Remember when OBJ threatening Nnamdi Kanu... he said in case he died let they kill all OBJ family.

The Sultan and Emirs family Even Buhari Family are really accessible... And IPOB has already infiltrated North.... very well. that was what Yerima Shettima was saying.

they would not fight the Army they would kill Northern Leaders and Politicians...

it would be bloody.. they would avoid direct war... but push all politicians out of Nigeria...

You make me laugh. Are we talking about the same IPOB or another one?

So, you believe that Obasanjo, a former war commander, would take Kanu's empty threat seriously. Kanu is not the first to make threats. Tompolo and his cohort did and till today, no one knows Tompolo's whereabouts. Threats were also made toward the election which Goodluck lost without anything happening. Where are the Niger Delta Avengers today?

Let me tell you the gospel truth: If Kanu is killed today, nothing will happen to Nigeria. Policemen killed Muhammad of Boko Haram and Nigeria did not burn. Only Bornu has been seriously burning since then. No man is greater than the federation. These misinformed people flocking after Kanu are just playing with their precious lives. Unlike 1960s, this present call for Biafra is not close to total. There are just as many Igbos who do not support Kanu's agitation because it is not sound enough.

That is what Igbos said in 1967 and killed Ahmadu Bello... Their all powerful Irons was killed like a rat.

Do you know the Number of IPOB that infiltrated the North... speaking Hausa fluently.. Converted to Muslim.

You must understand that this war you people are begging for... it is unpredictable... but North would be hit hard... very hard. .

Before you people declare war.... you must analyse all posible effect... but external influence.

You must try to avoid violence...

Oh, so you agree that the 1966 coup was an Igbo coup?

And might I remind you that Kaduna was able to infiltrate Bello's compound because he was a familiar figure. No IPOB member, not even Kanu, can infiltrate the palace of the Sultan. In spite of threats, Boko Haram, a more sophisticated group, has not been able to kill the Sultan as they had often threatened.

It was not an Igbo coup... just like if Kanu dies today... it is not "Hausa Fulani " that kill him.. because they whole Hausa did not vote to kill anybody.

It was some political officer that did that rubbish.... BUT just the way you are doing the Igbos were insensitive also then just like you are now because they felt it would not affect them

the North patiently wait and strucked .. And kill innocent people not Because they committed any crime... because they were complecent on their high horses.

They is already report of people attacking innocent Hausa Fulani community in Portharcort ..

Like I said... If they kill Kanu... All those top Northerns elders and politicians would be hunted and assassinated... it would trigger reprisal .. then counter reprisal ...

The whole Nigeria would burn.... but like you guys said "Nothing Would Happen "

Nothing would happen. In July 1966 coup, a lot of Igbo officers were killed. The killing went into the streets. Why was the Sultan or Gowon not killed? The Igbos would later be beaten in the Civil War.

And you all know that a reprisal from the Hausas would be worse. At the end of the day, Nigeria would remain one and the Igbos would again be the major losers.

You can predict war... they would be enough external influence based on interest ..

and the war maybe instigated to last for decades still base on interest. we can separate or remain together still based on external influence.

At the end we would look back and say it was not worth it.. because both party (north and South) would be the great losers while the like of Britain, US, Turkey and Russia would be the winner

why do you think the reprisal from Hausa will be worst?

I wonder why a lot of people talk about this Hausa tribe as if they have the most violence people. Nah everybody get blood for eyes. If the Hausa struck, people will retaliate, only the people that found their selves on the wrong side will pay for it with their life.

I believe the failed government of buhari is so wrong with the way is handling this ipob issue

That was not what I was talking about. What I meant was that there are more Igbos with huge investments in Hausaland than more Hausas with huge investments in Igboland. Look at the Ife case. The Hausas were quickly evacuated because they didn't have huge investments eveywhere. Can Alaba be quickly evacuated like that? The Hausa's reprisal would be worse. Igbos have more to lose.

If you cannot all sit down and read about the wars in Somalia and in South Sudan, then I am sorry for you. There is no how you would beat Nigeria in a war. There is just no how. And when you have all been trashed just yet again, the Igbos would have set themselves back by 50 years.
