A good FX Training should deal with a candid and precise training and understanding of Candlesticks(the important candlesticks are not more than 7), this is the blank cheque for making crazy money in this market! |

An indepth understanding of Technical Analysis should form a composite part of a good FX Training. This should also encompass professional deployment of core indicators, and please don't bore your trainees with explanations of how to use indicators that you got from free online resources! We all know those stale explanations and it does not make money in the market! |

I'll d say it should embody the complete truth. Nothing should be left out. Most especially its pit falls. Everything should be taught from scratch. But too much emphases should not be placed on unnecessary calculations as they don't count when the real trading begins. For example if a trade is placed say "SELL" for example, the trader does not bring out a pen and paper to calculate his profit. The platform does all that. So a good fx training should embody more of strategy teachings and not how to place "BUY" and "SELL"

No matter what a forex newbie is taught, if he does not conquer his emotions then, he keeps making the same mistake over and over again, wiping out string of accounts, Of utmost importance is to make him understand that forex success does not come in a flash, |

i always tell people forex is not about know-how, its all about moneymanagement, discipline and mastering ones emotions. a lot of niajas know a lot about forex but it does not translate to making money, that is why most of them are selling thier knowledge via seminars. i have a popular saying i tell newbies, 'if u believe you are discipline and a person of strong character, come and trade forex and forex will show you who you really are, it will redifine discipline for u!', lol so any training that does not emphasize on moneymangement and discipline na fallacy just my 2pips |

@bily, you are spot on! fx trading is serious business and must be taken as such; not get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time for a trader to be mature enough to keep stops, limit exposure, manage risks and so on. These don't come unless time has been invested. |
