A group of final year Electrical/Electronics Engineering students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, (POLYUNWANA), Ebonyi State accomplished a rare feat by building a generator that can run completely without fuel.

The students numbering about 15 built this generator as their final year project, under the guidance of their Supervisor and Technologist.

The Generator, on testing, produced about 230v Ac output and has a capacity of about 2.8kva.

On the defense day, the external supervisor who was visibly overwhelmed commended the efforts of the students and encouraged them to do more.
