near to us in Niger republic, the country is among the premier production of uranium, and it's their uranium that France, Canada and other developed countries using to produce electricity but till today Niger is begging Nigeria for electricity, it's shame!

i dont agree with you on that....you cant complain later about nepa if you fold the hand of the fg to go the easy way but with risks...

Dude, China is building over 20 additional nuclear reactors as we speak. India has 22 reactors and is building more nuclear plants geared at ending its power crisis. Iran, Ukraine, Pakistan, Slovakia, South Africa etc are all building nuclear power plants. Most of those countries are not better than Nigeria in maintenance of facilities. Nuclear plants come with complex maintenance procedures that all countries adhere to in partnership with the IAEA.

the yeast will surpass the west very fast if they have enough power....nuclear plants will be a win for yeasterners.....

i know igbos...igbos like to always do something....if the yeast have enough energie,they will turn many yeastern cities to many londons....

Is Chernobyl not enough? A whole region has become a wasteland for the next hundred years- because of nuclear energy. Everyone had to leave in a hurry- many with the cancer that would later kill them- because of nuclear power. And this happened in a technologically advanced country.

The conversation got interesting again. We already know nuclear is safe statistically, there's alternative to using uranium based reactors and we don't have major natural disasters to worry about. The Russians are doing operations but will they be here forever. I'm pretty sure management would transfer over after some period of time. I just want federal government running just like anything else be it airport or rail lines.

Anyone advocating nuclear should want plant by them. I live an 1.5hrs from a nuclear plant so it's not a big deal. If everything running great you don't know it exist.
