A candid advice from all Lagos base nairalanders.
My first bank account got locked but needed an upgrade from student account to normal account. I was directed by the bank to present a valid means of identification. Yesterday, I went to enroll for the NIMC but the unfortunate happened when I was asked to check back in 2 weeks time for the temporary nimc slip. I'm left stranded and cashless now as I couldn't utilise the money in my account. I would have opted for account closure but unfortunately I can't opt for that as the account is presently assign for a particular task. I have bin to various local governments in Lagos, instead, they told me to keep checking back in few days time for enrollment. I would gladly welcome any kind opinion or suggestions on how to go about this.
NOTE: I'm a Lagos resident.
