*gasp*rooivalk is better than the apache?!..hahahahahaha...you've really gotten it bad.
It has always been in terms of flight performance or characteristics.

The Apache is ahead in terms of avionics, sensors etc. The newer versions have data links.

How will they capture a T-72 that has armour they cannot penetrate?

The same thing that rebels in syria have been doing for years - kill them with RPG's

Ambush? In which bush? Seleka attacked a well secured and cement wall fenced SANDF base.

See how you change facts, no wonder you like Aljazeera news.

No, it is established fact that Seleka ambushed a recon element sent to link up with a FOMAC unit that had abandoned its position

Most of the fighting was done along the two roads leading into Bangui
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 4:53pm On Jan 05, 2015
Nigerian troops were blaksemed by bandits inside their base in their own country.

BH is also fighting with inexperienced bandits who seem to always overpower your well experienced soldiers.

Always? How many times has Nigerian soldiers defeated Boko Harem in battle and we see dead bodies to prove it?

You see only the events you personally choose to see.

Who cares anyway? Book Haram will soon abandon that town when T-72 appears. Boko Haran has failed to do what ISIS did.

How will they capture a T-72 that has armour they cannot penetrate? T-72 does not need to shoot Boko Haram, just drive the tank over the Toyota vehicles and crush it.

You don't use your brain, that's your weakness.

So unoccupied T-72 will do wonders and fight unmanned like a robot. Obviously, BH will capture tanks they find inside the base.

Have you ever read about slavery?
yeah.the west african slave trade route.greedy traditional kings sold out their own subjects in exchange for rifles to wage more wars of conquest and cotton shirts to amuse themselves and impress rivals.

You are lying, it is reported all over the news that Boko haram killed hundreds of your soldiers and that some of your soldiers managed to flee/escape.

Boko Haram killed hundreds of Nigerian soldiers in Baga? Show neutral source to prove that.

Okay, Seleka killed 100 SANDF soldiers in Bangui

And how many times have nigerian soldiers run from Boko Haram?

My friend, it is the nigerian military that continues to fail to fulfil the mandate given when the state of emergency was declared.

Each Day of Boko Haram's existence is a victory for them and continued failure by your military.

That's what you think and it is not so. Baga base had weapons like any other military base, or don't you keep your weapons in bases anymore?

Bags is an FOB, not a standard army base where you find Tanks in NE. If Baga had one T-72, Boko Haram won't come there, they picked on a small Forward Operating Base that was lightly armed and too far away for quick reinforcement.

16 hours? Where?

5am -12noon = 7 hours, and battlefield was across lake chad.

Your comment is garbage

Your calculation and denial are based in which evidence? The battle lasted 16 hours my man. It started in the AMs. Not at noon.

And 7 hours is still long enough for a military fighting at home, with a state of emergency, in its own base, to sort itself out.

Your men failed and ran as a result.

And what happened to your "sharpshooters that never waste bullets"? (Your words). Sharpshooters ran out of ammunition. Sharpshooters ran? Sharpshooters had no reinforcement? In their own base? No man. The sharpshooters were simply overpowered and they took off.

That's a lie. BH once attacked a base with 3 hinds and burn them to the ground. So what will make them not to attack a base packed with just slow T-72 tanks

Yes, that is the basic protection.

It can be up-armored as needed. Because of its modular design you simply undo some nuts, replace the plate and do them up again.

Same way BTR-4 is modular and can be up-armoured, so what?

Nah!!! it were only Nigerian soldiers who were bitterly defeated by rag tag bandits and perished as reported by various international news.

SANDF never refused to fight Seleka, we acted within the confines of military command. We respect our parliament.

SANDF cannot go back to retake CAR, we have our free SA which is not under control of no rebels or terrorists
