Not even in the north east where most ppl are farmers and they build their houses in the middle of their farms where boko haram can quickly get to with their motorcycles and run into bushes. For many weeks/months/years did Boko Haram drive around in MARKED tanks and armoured vehicles? What took Nigeria so long to atleast ensure that such heavy vehicles are destroyed? You were still waiting for new equipment to arrive from Russia? Any 2nd rate army must have the immediate capability to destroy heavy armour even within 24 hour notice....not wait for equipment to arrive from overseas.

The BH ploys on motorbikes came later on.
