Msauza: Agaugust, I have attended school with foreigners something that you never had a chance to experience.

very very very very few white europeans or americans will leave their country and come to afriac to spend $100,000 to get a south african university degree. you dont know the high level pride, ego, and superiority complex of these white europeans and americans over Africa . i live among them....but you dont. grin

your post/source is nothing special, because nigeria too has student exchange programmes with foreign european and american universities, even Ghana does the same thing. rich and poor countries exchange university professors too. go sit down men ! angry

We haven't gone to universities yet, we are still in high school. We have hundreds of such organisations in South Africa which facilitate this programme, where parents exchange their children with other families abroad. So why did you refuse at the first place. SA has many American and UK students.

Here's another organisation.

I was even once romantically involved with another African American foreign exchange chick from US

Bwahahahahaha!! You only came to live with white people in your old age. Do you forget that I also live among whites in South Africa? I was born with them, schooled with them, dine with them and even dated them and now you want to tell me about white people. Let me tell you something that you never knew, there are many white foreigners in South Africa than you can ever think. Did you ever ask yourself why SA has so many Jews who left Israel many years ago and settle in SA. Why do we have many Portuguese who left Portugal many years ago and settle here. In our Universities we have many European students and American students who left their homes to explore SA. They came here because they were told that SA university degrees are also competitive in the world.

your source was quoting south african government and south african defence forces direct statements and that is the bush war propaganda news from your apartheid government, everybody knows that. the fake news says :

"
The South African government is doling out tidbits about the extent of alleged Russian involvement in Angola with telling effect. The first news, last weekend, indicated that the South African Defence Force had collected piles of Russian propaganda during its raid into Angola, and that a group of Russian "advisers" had barely escaped captured by fleeing from the town of Xangongo, the site of a major South-West African People's Organization [SWAPO] base.

Then, too late for South Africa's main afternoon newspapers, but in good time for peak time radio and TV broadcast Tuesday afternoon, the Defense Force announced that Russians had actually been involved in the Angolan fighting, that several had been killed and -- the cherry on the top -- that one Russian warrnt officer had even been captured.

The result was saturation coverage in South African morning newspapers Wednesday, not to mention splash headlines round the world, although not according to accounts in Moscow.

Banner headlines in South African papers read, in English and Afrikaans, the country's two main languages: "South Africa shot Russians dead, captured one in Angola," "Russian soldier held in SA raid," and, "South Africa catches, shoots Russians."

your source also confesses that the soviets denied these south african propaganda claims...read the portion in red font above that said "although not according to accounts in Moscow ".

if south africa truly captured or killed any soviet soldier in bush war and the whole country was celebrating it, where is are the photo of the dead or captured soviets in south african newspapers ? NONE grin

only a first class fool will believe war report from south african government and south african defence forces about their own combat kills in the angolan bush war. we have not forgotten your seleka rebel lies...kill ratio 1:61 'Guinness Book Of World Records' grin grin grin

@Agaugust

Warrant Officer Nikolai Feodorovich Pestretsov is the russian soldier who was captured as prisoner of war by the SADF and google will even confirm it to you. The warrant officer was captured and his colleagues were killed and that was more than enough to prove the intervention of Russian troops in Angola.

That WAEC is highest to your standard not to our standard. Then how does it come that you are forced to bridge to be considered an admission to study in SA, UK and US? It might be that your exams are not of international standard and are a lot easier.

Do you really want to go back to this argument which you lost? You South Africans are unbelievable!! You all fail at 33% and do not even stand the chance of enrolling or applying to study anywhere outside your South Africa!

who cares about NECO ? it is an internal and very limited use internal exam. WAEC is international and a west african exam body. you dont know nigerian education system. NECO Might Be Failing Our Children

QUOTE :

"
In year 2000―the year that candidates first sat the NECO May/June examinations in addition to WASSCE, most schools were thrown into celebrations and jubilations when the results were released as almost every student had an avalanche of distinctions even in subjects some of them didn’t register for. The assertive notion then was that NECO was trying to “entice” candidates.

This was proven to be true, to some extent, when WASSCE results were also released.

It’s worthy to note that a lot of candidates who passed NECO exams glowingly failed WASSCE woefully. The controversy surrounding NECO exams further deepened during the 2001 examinations.

Maybe as a result of the widespread rejection of its results by some universities, the council became less benevolent and charitable with it’s A’s, and a lot of candidates failed woefully despite having comparatively average results in WAEC examinations.

Despite having being successfully established as an autonomous examination council, NECO is still walking in the shadows of WAEC. Its system is similar, in every ramification except the leadership, to the sub-regional council’s. This could be another way that NECO is contributing to the ridiculous results it is publishing annually. "

no world class university will charge $10,000 for a univerity 4 year BSc degree.

a british or american university 4 year BSc degree costs $50,000 average. a foreign student needs another $50,000 for four years food, books, house, transport, air flight return tickets, and many other utility bills. it will cost about $100,000 to get a good foreign BSc degree in a good foreign university that meets international standards. fact.
