honestly, am not happy about this news. we need to have at least 3 frigates, 1 destroyer(we already have enough corvets plus more coming) before we should be talking about aircraft carrier.

although the chinese type 053 is multipurpose role, i still want us to have like two or three full frigates to compliment them.

one chinese mini-aircraft carrier is cheaper than one valour frigate.

nigeria has no west african enemy whose navy owns a frigate as at today.
