You are such a fool! all liberation movements were trained by Tanzanians. Your president Jocob Zuma was as well trained in Tanzania so was namibia president (Pohamba) and Mozambique president (Guebuza) the current Zimbabwean top commander (Gen Constantine Chiwengwa) was trained in Tanzania the list is so long. Zimbabwe or SA are nothing short of pathetic!! The list is rubbish simply because your chicken forces are not in the list??

the site has indicated pretty well "Please keep in mind that this fascinating list is in no particular order. We just hope you enjoy this one."

lot of butthurt people around here.
Zuma was never trained in Tanzania, get your facts straight. The same Tanzania SA Recces penetrated during missions, even destroying bridges and power lines near their capital city? MK had bases and trained in Angola,Uganda,Algeria,Libya,East German and other USSR states. SA special forces attacked targets anywhere in SADC(Malawi,Zambia,Botswana,Lesotho,Tanzania,Mozambique etc). Regarding Zimbabwe SF they fought in the DRC bloody well and led the final assault on UNITA.

INFORMATION

NNS Aradu has left the dry dock at Wilmot Point. It is currently sitting at the navy dockyard, NNS Quorra. In other words it has completed its refit and is back in service. Although paint work hasn't been done on it as at the last time I saw it at the dockyard because one can see patches of where work were done on its hull. Tried taking pictures but my phone couldn't zoom in enough.

This is great news. What it means is, NN strategic guidance for 2014 is on schedule.

The African National Congress in Tanzania

"After taking power in Tanzania, Nyerere became one of the architects for the formation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) and remained an ardent supporter of the continent’s liberation struggles. Tanzania provided facilities for liberation movements such as the African National Congress (ANC), Pan Africanist Congress (PAC), the Zimbabwe African People’s Union (ZAPU), the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU), the South West African People’s Organisation (SWAPO), FRELIMO and the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), and allowed them to operate from its soil. In addition, the Tanzanian government allowed the organisations to use Radio Tanzania to broadcast messages to their respective countries.

In the aftermath of the Sharpeville Massacre, the government banned the ANC and the PAC in South Africa. The ANC then sent Frene Ginwala to Tanzania with instructions to establish an office in Dar-es Salaam, and await further communication. Once in the country, she worked as a journalist while carrying out work for the ANC, which included receiving comrades arriving in Dar-es Saalam. Meanwhile, in 1960 the party instructed Oliver Tambo to clandestinely leave the country and establish offices for the movement in exile. He was also authorised to seek international support for the struggle against apartheid. Tambo skipped the country through Bechuanaland, in a car driven by Ronald Segal. Once in Bechuanaland he contacted Frene Ginwala, who made arrangements for a plane to fly Tambo, Dr Yusuf Dadoo and Segal to Dar-es-Salaam. Upon arrival they were welcomed by Julius Nyerere, and from that time Tanzania became an important point of contact and transit for the ANC in exile." you can go through the link and read more for yourself: http://www.sahistory.org.za/topic/umkhonto-wesizwe-mk-exile?page=8

I look at you as a fool because you seem to know nothing about history. Malawi was darling of apartheid while Angola was under Portuguese at that time. Only after it was liberated its when ANC opened camps in Angola while the biggest military base of ANC was still in Tanzania.

You are talking about Zimbabwe fighting with rebel group such as UNITA!! really Do you know how many wars has Tanzania fought??

"What the people of Tanzania have given to us can never be measured in monetary terms. Nor can it be quantified. It was from Tanzania and many other countries that we executed many military campaigns against apartheid South Africa. Most importantly, it was with the moral and material support of the Tanzanian people that we managed to defeat apartheid." these are words of your president Jacob Zuma read: http://www.thepresidency.gov.za/pebble.asp?relid=4512&t=79

indeed there are many ANC people who were trained in Tanzania,SANDF had to re-train those integrated....anyway I don't want to be part of this useless debate because our friends from Nigeria base their arguments with propaganda, lies and arrogance...
I thought this debate is between SA and Nigeria, surprisingly when our friends from Nigeria run short of rockets they hide behind other countries....

INBUILT DATA

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by AugustineAgain: 4:35pm On Jul 06, 2014
The Otomat is an unusual missile. The four double-delta wings are each mounted on an air intake and are tipped with a datalink antenna.. Between two of the wing pairs are a pair of solid rocket launch boosters which are jettisoned after four seconds. A radar altimeter is fitted to the underside. The jet engine is to the rear along with the cruciform guidance fins. The missile comes sealed in a fiberglass container that needs maintenance only once a year. Launch is via the MM/OJ-791 operator console.

[size=14pt]

datalink allows two Otomats stagger-fired to “cooperate” and extend their maximum range from 35NM to 43 ¼ NM......

(43 NM = 80 km range)

“This time we can anticipate heavy weapons support both from South African units and from their SADC partners. Therein lies the second point. Tanzania is actually doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the FIB. Its commander, Brigadier General James Aloizi Mwakibolwa has decades of command experience, and is well-suited for this kind of campaign. Beyond this, the Tanzanians are bringing an artillery company, Special Forces and a host of other useful detachments that will be valuable in locating and destroying M23. In total, Tanzania's bringing about 1,300 troops to this fight, actually making them the lead actors in the operation.

India declares Bofors F-77B range as max 43 km in the year 2012.

Both Nigeria and India upgraded their Bofors guns to increase range with latest type of artillery muzzle.

In 1999, India used Bofors F-77B in war to defeat Pakistan in Kargil war, after that around year 2005 Nigeria ordered this longer range Bofors.

http://beegeagle./2013/04/06/world-exclusive-oto-melara-palmaria-155mm-self-propelled-artillery-of-the-nigerian-army/

The Bofors gun continues to give India 'an edge' over its adversary on the Line of Control and has helped the country win 'artillery duels', till the time the ceasefire came into effect in 2003, Indian Army officers say.

"With a range of over 35 kms in the high-altitude terrain, the gun helped us win artillery duels with Pakistani Army

The FH77 Bofors guns, he said, were better than the medium artillery guns available with the Pakistani Army.

"Superiority of our guns, which can fire three rounds in 12 seconds, has been proved during the 1999 war
and they also know that their guns are of no match to our medium guns. After Kargil, the guns proved their mettle during Operation Parakram in 2001 also, where they would fire 80-90 rounds every day causing immense damage to enemy posts and morale," the officers added.

No SF operator was killed in CAR they had vehicles. I doubt any unit in Africa can fight for 9 hours without giving up and receiving supplies like the combined SA force did in CAR. Look at the casualty numbers in the DRC,both Tanzania and Malawi have lost soldiers while SA only got WIAs. Though that isn't something to proud of.

Endurance? SA forces fought for more than 13 hours in CAR without giving up. What endurance are you talking about? Tanzania,Malawi and South Africa sent battalions to participate in the MONUSCO FIB,at the the commander of the brigade was Tanzanian and his deputy was Canadian. The was no point of going back to CAR to topple Seleka,it was up to AU to make that call. South Africa had forces(battalion size) around CAR ready to strike if a command to attack came. Chinese training? Is the reason they're taking casualties?

FH-77B05 isn't FH-77B. Don't make me pick out the lies in beegeagle's stories. The version India is talking about is the BAE systems bofors upgraded FH-B05 L52,which India ordered after Denel was blacklisted by the Indian government. Last year after investigations Denel was cleared since nothing was found. Denel was supposed to supply India with artillery(Bhim,T5,T6 etc) and sniper rifles(NTW-20) and other equipment. Cause of that India decided to upgrade the guns it already had, even developing an anti-material rifle similar to the Denel NTW-20. Nigeria never awarded any contract to Sweden's BAE systems bofors to upgrade her guns. SANDF artillery is superior to Nigerian artillery. SANDF infantry weapons are superior to Nigerian infantry weapons....etc

The F-77B is export version of the F-77A. It has a lower rate of fire and its range isn't that different. Your artillery is yet to break the 40km barrier If you're gonna use army guide to prove that,I'll use it to prove SA has the G6-52L with a range of 67km.

Your reply is dry and empty, no source, just your personal envy loaded opinion.

I used more than army guide website, I quoted 1999 war report from Indian website when Bofors F-77B had been firing over 35km range.

I also posted Indian army video above saying Bofors F-77B, NOT Bofors B0 L52 anything, just F-77B or your two eyes both have cataract and your two hears have excess wax blockage? The Indian army officer in the video said F-77B ordinary has range 43 km, not any B0 L52.

Nigeria has 25 F-77A and 48 F-77B and both are NOT the same, the export version has been upgraded as written clearly in the website.

You guys never knew before that Nigeria has 73 Bofors artillery, did you? No, we Nigerians revealed that to you.

My point is proved with beyond reasonable doubt with Indian sources apart from the Army Guide website.

Sources can be used to clarify sources when doubts exist, that is the purpose of human intelligence which all South Africans don not have.

South Africans are the second dullest brains in the world according to world research reports, so I don't expect you to understand simple things.
