Help! My 'WP Theme' Can't Display Featured Image & Post Title On Facebook by Unique32: 8:48am On Nov 24, 2017
Please my theme 'Carrington Mobile' does not display featured image and post title when posted on social media like Facebook and Whatsapp.


It displays default featured image with no post title, even tho i always set the featured image in the dashboard before posting it.


It appears normal on my site but not on Facebook/Whatsapp. 


I think the problem is from the theme, cos i tempered with some codes. Please will be greatfull if anyone can proffer help.


Please help, i can't share my links on social media again because of this issue.

Install Yoast SEO , it should resolve the issue

After installing Yoast SEO or any other WP SEO plugin...you have set the social title and social description for all your post/pages for Facebook and Twitter aside the normal SEO title and meta description....

Below those two is an option to upload an image that will be displayed on Social media whenever you or others share the post or page.

Then it means there are some missing codes in the theme.

Maybe you removed them while editing it.

In that case I will be needing your login details to look into it
