Hello Team, just before ITA testimonies start rolling in. Let me discuss something personal, with a projected score of atleast 467 (MSC, 31YRS, 3 YEARS EXP, SINGLE). I am assuming I'd almost get ITA as soon as I enter the pool. I currently have about half the POF in fixed deposit, surprisingly talking to close family relatives has not yielded much effort(to be honest I'd have sworn getting my parents to fix 2 million in my account for a few months wouldn't be an issue but obviously I was wrong) . Now I have an uncompleted building in a very central place in one of the popular south western states and I am toying with the idea of disposing it. The property could easily be valued at about 8 million if you factor in cost of land and a very high fence, solid gate and a 2 two bedroom flat presently at lintel level. I am currently working and might not be able to save up to the 2 million outstanding until next year June. I am also considering the 6 months POF in account requirement. So to the experienced people in the house with a tight budget, how can I navigate this POF issue. Should I liquidate the property ? Should I take a loan ? I really need the fund to be domiciled in my account for sometime so as early as possible the better. Lastly, please do not quote this post cos I will edit it later. Just mention my name as I need advise now. Another remote option is to ask from my fiance which I really am not comfortable with ? Any ideas family ? What would you all do in my situation. 1 Like |

Finally taking my own space in this part 3. I will testify of my story and patience in this part 3. Amen 1 Like |

I don't know if you've been answered, but let me try... Glad you have two payslips already and a letter of employment. Maybe you should ask your employer to write you a letter stating that you were paid cash subsequently. You should deduce whether the payslips were issued before cash payments were made so that your employer will word your letter correctly. gogedda: 1 Like 1 Share |

I'm not sure if losing your job will prohibit you from becoming the PA. The minimum requirement is a one year experience in the last ten years and the job must be in either of the NOC's 0, A or B. Next is your credential(s), and age, then proof of fund. In any case you are found deficient in the POF, then you can ask your spouse to augment. You can do all the research, evaluate your credentials, and sit for IELTS and encourage her to do the same assuming you do not meet the requisite score. policy12: 1 Like |

oladelemary: Hello, Can you provide a link to support the above (bolded) statement? I saw the statement below on CIC's website. "Note: If your spouse or partner is not coming with you to Canada, or they are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you will earn points as if you don’t have a spouse or partner". This is the link to the post--https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html Also, when using the CRS tool, question 2 says: "Is your spouse or common-law partner a citizen or permanent resident of Canada"? I believe she can apply for Express Entry/FSW if she is eligible. She will choose married with a non-accompanying spouse. I would appreciate if you could provide a link to buttress your point. Thanks. Cc: Stylequeen. 2 Likes |

Deebay: Sorry for the late response. If additional doc is required, you'll see a tab to the right of the doc in the table asking you to upload and telling you the deadline. If not, maybe a technical glitch. I would advice you Keep checking your acct regularly so you don't miss something. 1 Like |

I don't think so. Fearing failure allows negativity to creep into our thoughts and actions, and before we know it, we begin to spread these thoughts which weaken success. Do not allow negativity to creep into your thoughts. Someone said he had surgery while undergoing medicals and yet he got PPR. I'd advise that you stay resolute and go for your medicals. May God favour you. bestdiddy: 2 Likes |

Lol... This guy called Elfmann en, u be case. Funny guy. I got my own hardcopy delivered to me via UPS last month, but no much difference with the soft copy, just the seal. I had to revert my spouse shipment (currently under verification) to Standard Delivery, without tracking option. Now I'm getting back $88.14 in a jiffy. They even referred to my request to revert the shipment as "overpayment" after reviewing my submission! Sincerely, my advice to folks is, download the soft copy and use in case you do not get the hard copy via Standard Delivery (there is no guaranty that it will get to you). If you succeed with your application, when you arrive Canada, you can always apply to WES to send you the hard copy to an address in Canada and at at a cheaper price. Divinegifts: 2 Likes |

if you are on POST ITA and have got your UCI/passed medicals, do well to register for an IOM session. it would prepare you for life in canada, job hustle and how best to plan. it is a free pre-arrival service funded by the Government of Canada. Dedicated to helping you and your family prepare for a new life in Canada. here is the link to register https://2register.planningforcanada.ca/register/index.php 19 Likes 13 Shares |

Deebay: Hello Deebay, Someone posted this (the post below) on Canadavisa forum. "To all who are facing this weird status - 'Your action is required'. About the issue, for me the medical status got updated to 'You passed the medicals' after 4 days and at the same time the profile status was also updated to 'Submitted' from 'Your action is required'. As I was worried, I called CIC in between and they told me to be patient as sometimes it may happen to some profiles (technical glitches). On the whole, it took 4 days for this status update. But I also know a couple of guys, who got an ADR after 1-2 days of this 'Your action is required' thing. Now, I have also crossed IP1 and moved to NA2". I believe your profile (status) will be updated within the next few days. It will surely end in praise. 3 Likes |

The person I called said they were on strike but promise to lend a helping hand. You can PM if you need the contact. |
