Kontagious: I have noticed that for accompanying spouse the difference between 8777 and say 7777 or even 6777 is not up to 10 points. Am I right? 1 Like |

mcstan18:No be today temperature+heartbeat don de rise in anticipation of result... Result go show and see folks blasting BC with RPG Saintp:You're right, maximum your spouse can add from IELTS is 20 points. Let's just say that gives your spouse some form of leeway to fall below the 8777 and you s/he won't lose as much as the PA will lose with such a result. Difference between 8777 and 7777/6777 is just about 2 points. As a PA, you don't want your L to be below 8 otherwise, as said here, more revenue to BC from you be that. |

Hi people. Please a friend created his EE profile yesterday evening (about 7pm Nigerian time). The scores are not showing yet. Could there be an issue? It’s been ages since I created an EE profile so I can’t remember if the scores appeared immediately or if it took a while. Recent swimmers, please help to confirm if this is normal. Thank you. |

elfmann: Thanks Elfmann. He is very eligible o. And he signed before it transmitted. Seen a statement on the profile which says ‘if no score is displayed p, check if you meet the MEC and if you’ve met the MEC, wait for 24 hours and try again’. I just wonder what ‘try again’ means. Is it to recreate? Anyway, we will wait 24 hours because the MEC says ‘you met the minimum criteria’. Thanks again. |

Bsbabe: It is no big deal. If after 24 hours, your score is still not showing, click on the "report a technical issue" panel from your application page and report the issue. It should be rectified in less than a working day. 1 Like |

Mcstan, Let me break it down. When you get CLB 9 (8777) it means you fall in the level of "initial advanced" user of English Language. The better your language skills are, the higher the likelihood that you will successfully integrate into the system. Therefore, when you get CLB 9, you are awarded 50 additional points (with Masters degree or with two or more degrees/diploma) or 25 additional points (one bachelor's degree). This is under skill transferability factors as "Official Language proficiency and education". In addition, you get better scores in 'First Official language" under Core Human Capital Factors. If every of your score is CLB 9, you get 116. However, the maximum obtainable here is 128 which you get if you obtain CLB 10 in all the metrics. This means that you are an advanced user of the language. This is why people are usually advised by the gurus to try for IELTS score of 8777. It is the yardstick that determines (in most cases, exceptions include when age is advanced and/or when you have only one Bsc) whether you will be looking for Provincial Nomination or sitting tight and waiting for CRS to favour you. mcstan18: 1 Like |
