This is a well marshaled argument against daily eating of pork but note the author did not say don't eat pork.

Boiler takes about 6weeks to get to maturity with the use of growth promoting antibiotics and we all know the effect of consuming such over time. My point is every protein source comes with its own issues

With the infusion of new enlightened farmers who are following standards and maintain good ethics on there farm you have nothing to worry about. We even have organic farmers in piggery that don't use any form of drugs now

I would rather stick to my PORK than any animal i don't know what is used in rearing them.
Reference:
Pork is way down my protein wish list simply because pigs by nature are resilient animals. They can harbour, survive and thrive in such septic and toxic environments that you need a lot of work to bring their meat to safe levels for consumption.

In a nutshell pigs are built tough in and out so what will kill them will kill man several times over. Nigerians are not known for hygiene, nor are they known for details, standards and ethics. A lot of hidden problems will get through. So I rather stick with my poultry. Birds drop dead at a penny so consuming risky poultry is a lot less possible than pork.

It has great aroma, very tasty but to me just too risky to consume regularly. Let there be strict regulations first.

Pork is white meat. Pork is not bad for you. It's also tasty.
Bacon, sausages, pork chops, ribs etc
Also, these are 2 hoofed animals... Cattle, sheep, goat, antelope, gazelle (bush meat them) for the brother that quoted Bible.
It's OK if you don't eat it, don't discredit it.

As at now, the rich eat pork. You see them do barbeque and the rest in their parties. If you have the means, buy a pig for the festive season, do barbeque and suya with it and share with your neigbours. Spread love and make the season a happy one for someone.

Its a season of love, rather than share hate, spread love for God is loving
