You are definitely an alien. Onitsha-Enugu expressway links Anambra south via Onitsha-Owerri road, Nkpor down to Aguata, it links Awka from where you proceed to Anambra southern part. It is now obvious why you outsiders are crying over this airport in Anambra, because for sure the local ones in your state are not gonna survive the emergence of Anambra international airport
I am not even sure you know Anambra at all.
Where do you think Owerri Road links to Enugu Expressway?
Nothing concerns the south with Enugu Expressway oga

Do you know the Distance from Ihembosi to Nteje Alone?Oga stop lying to yourself. Any thing past Owerri road is like another side of the world for Anambra South if what they are looking for can be found in Owerri

Nwokem mechionu nsi. Do you know the distance from Abuja airport to the city centre? It is over an hour drive. Proper international airports are set outside the major cities to be able to get ample land space.

Anambra has developed proper international airport to serve Anambra people, so shut up

This is why it is annoying discussing with outsiders. Onitsha-Enugu expressway links Onitsha-Owerri road at Upper Iweka interchange, from there you will proceed to Anambra south. From Awka via Onitsha-Awka-Enugu expressway through Amawbia you will also proceed to Anambra south as well. There are other numerous roads like that.

To serve Kogi people you mean.
If it was meant to serve Anambra people the Government would have put accessibility in mind instead of my paddy paddy Village

Now tell me the distance from Ihembosi to Upper Iweka talkless of Ihiala and Uli?
That is moving away FROM Anambra South in a lengthy journey. Then faced with Upper Iweka riots. Yes Riot because that place is a war zone.
Oga you think those from the South are fools or what. Instead of taking a comfortable drive to Owerri through the Owerri road in front of their house , one will waste precious time and mental health to go through the jungles of Upper Iweka to do what exactly?

Akụkọ.
Let me ask you a few questions
1) if you are living in Obosi, Onitsha or Oba, which airport will you use? Umueri or Asaba.
2) If you are living in Ihembosi, Okija, Ihiala or Uli, would think of leaving Owerri Road to enter the jungles of Upper Iweka then struggle to get to one Bush like that in Umuleri instead of Owerri? A journey that coming back with your side mirror is not guaranteed.
That is if agbero did not design your face with slaps. Plus the hold up at Mgbuka and obodo ukwu.
Minus the hold ups, you are already in Owerri before the person that left for Upper Iweka arrives at Upper Iweka and that is not even close to the Airport

Owerri Airport is almost midway between Owerri and Aba, and cannot compete for any Anambra passengers. Asaba Airport with the 2nd Niger Bridge will compete for Nnewi, Ihiala, Uli, Ozubulu, Okija etc passengers. To forestall severe competition for some Anambra South Passengers, Anambra State government should build a clover-leaf flyover at the junction of Airport Road at Enugu-Onitsha Expressway and extend a dual carriage Road southwards, perpendicular to Enugu-Onitsha expressway cutting Oyi, Idemmili, through Nnewi and will burst out on Onitsha-Owerri Road around Okija/Ozubulu with another clover-leaf flyover

I expect the next governor to construct this important road; albeit with house demolitions, especially around Nnewi axis. It will equally serve as Ontisha Southern bye pass and we should find a way to link northwards to the Aguleri-Idah-Ajaokuta Road

Just read your post and see how dumb, silly, useless and hopeless you sound.

Imo airport is like 30mins to Owerri town, are you aware, intact imo airport is halfway between Owerri and Aba. Then calculate how many hours to Anambra from the airport.

Why would you think a sane person from Anambra would leave Anambra international airport and go through the jungle of Owerri with its associated insecurity and bad roads? Are you normal at all? Upper Iweka is more serene, safe than even the government house in Owerri.

Anambra international airport is centrally located to serve Anambra north, south and central.

Here's the Anambra international airport-Onitsha-Awka-Nnewi triangle. This was the reason the airport was sited in Umueri, coupled with the massive land space

All the things you just said is fairly tales. We are talking about reality.
Nobody from Anambra South will risk the stress of Upper Iweka alone for one bush Airport in far away Umuleri.
Nobody from Oba, Obosi, Nkpor or Onitsha will start doing merry go round to use a bush Airport.
Lets be realistic.
We've got the airport now is the time to be realistic. The Airport is for less than 20 percent of people in the state

2) If you are living in Ihembosi, Okija, Ihiala or Uli, would you use Owerri airport when you know that Owerri is now worse than Sambisa, when you know that Owerri is an insecure dungeon, when you know that Owerri is a killing field, when you know that passing through Owerri could cost you not just your car but your life.

Who would take such risk knowing that Upper Iweka is safer than even where Uzodimma lives in Owerri.

These are many reasons are why no one would dare leave Anambra to use airport in Imo state

You are talking total rubbish.
30 mins from Owerri, then how many minutes from Okija, Ihiala, Uli, Ihembosi or Nnewi? Roughly 40 max.
Put the two together, less than 2hrs without the Chaos of Onitsha.
Now how many minutes to Umuleri alone from these places? 2hrs plus.
If you check the map or know the road, it is not straight forward but merry go round through the most chaotic place and insecure jungles in Anambra
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by imaxdocuments: 12:31pm On Jun 28, 2021
Nobody from Anambra south would leave a quality international airport in Anambra and go to local Imo state airport that doesn't even have security, nor light, etc

No one would see Anambra international airport and want to use Owerri airport that doesn't have safety facilities.

No one would see Anambra international airport and want to use Owerri airport that's its access road is dilapidated and infested with armed robbers, kidnappers and terrorists.

Was it not along the way to airport that Gulak was assassinated in Owerri, that's to tell you house insecurity has destroyed that town and Imo state at large

Anambra international airport to Okija is 25mins ,but it is about 1hr 30mins to Owerri airport.

From Anambra international airport it is a straight road from the airport via the dual airport road on to the dual Onitsha-Awka-Enugu expressway. But from Owerri airport it via the jungle of chaotic dilapidated roads that's infested with armed robbers, kidnappers, armed men, etc. No sane person would make sure mistake.

Even your government in Owerri is by far more insecure than the peaceful Upper Iweka.

Owerri is such a dangerous insecure killing field that no sane person would like to pass through that shithole town once it is past 5pm because the town is ravaged by very high insecurity occasioned by terrorists, UGM, kidnappers, armed-robbers etc. FACT
